One of my favourites roads for the views, especially if you combine it with a ride along the Sma' Glen going in either direction. I'm surprised you didn't stop for photos up on the crest, the views of the mountains behind you are epic.
Morning Michael, it is indeed a brilliant road and I did head home via the Sma Glen, but I have recorded that route many times so point in doing it again. Like I said, I am a lazy devil 🤣🤣🤣 hence did not stop haha.
@blearyview2254 The Sma' Glen is my go-to place whenever I get a new bike but like yourself I'm aware how often it appears in videos and so try to show where I go before or after. I'm also unmotivated a lot of the time, my shed still needs it's doors fitted mostly due to the shed itself not going together like it should. I need to get out on the BMW haven't been on a bike since I took the first run with my Mrs.
@@greywolf9292 That a bummer Michael, you need to get your mojo back and get out and enjoy that lovely new bike you recently purchased. The rotten weather does not help either although I managed a couple of short rides last week. I was in Perth just down the road from you at the new Royal Enfield dealer Revolution Motors for an oil filter kit and it was an enjoyable ride. They going to give me a call when the new Classic 650 is in for a test ride so should be fun.
Cheers Paul, this is one of many roads well worth riding. I have a couple more videos, one of which is another cracking mountain pass, however, it was very misty and wet but makes for a great atmospheric video (well I think so :) , both will show a face in next few weeks.
hi Alex what a lovely ride just about the only one on that road .see for miles and then finish with a lovely bridge and stream.totally peaceful.thank you old dave
Evening Dunc, the weather that day was better than a lot of the so called "summer" days :) Stay where you are Dunc, the lunatics are running the asylum here...
Lovely place Loch Tay, would be great on a hot summers day, Good job you were on your bike otherwise a bit of reversing Required. Superb views and excellent weather for a ride. That's my type of road Alex. Appreciate you bringing Scotland to us all. Cheers
Evening Joe, I am a lucky lad to have so many great bike roads so close to me. I would hesitate to take a car up there, just too much hassle when you meet another motor coming the other way.
What a day for October!! People in shorts, tee shirts and even in the water. Love these little back roads, this one is lovely and twisty. I found the audio a wee bit quieter on this vid, until you shouted thank you at that car, then I shat m'self!🤣🤣 You're right Al, what a view. Bloody beautiful and a shame there's nowhere to stop and just take it in for an hour with a coffee. That double hairpin surface was scabby wasn't it. And how lovely for that bungalow having that river at the bottom of their garden. Well, until it's in their lounge that is😕😕 And I'm not surprised that they don't grit or clear snow on that top part with those hairpins and how steep it is. Wouldn't think it would be safe for the gritters/plough to go up there
Aye mental ain't it, I would not go in that water in the summer haha. I been busted, the sound was indeed a lot quieter on this vide. I think the mic must have been in the wrong position and I spent a lot of time improving the levels, but the shouty bit was to make sure you were still awake :) That bungalow is very nice but access in winter maybe a nightmare.
Thanks you 2WV, it was an excellent day out but won't be anywhere near the hills until spring now that winter has arrived. Urban and main roads for now :(
Evening Mick, it a terrific road but it gets a lot busier in summer months, lots of folk walk up the very steep hill from Kenmore but once you get past that lot it normally pretty clear.
It was probably warmer in the water than out! If I come over to do the NC500 in 2025, I'll take an extra week in _Écosse_ to do some of these fantastic routes. I love interesting _technical_ roads like that. The more _technical_ the better. Cracking views.
I will leave the water to folk braver than me. I am much the same and love riding the more technical paved roads and there are plenty to choose from. Let me know if you want some local knowledge to get the most from your time.

Evening Dave, aye it a fantastic road to take a motorcycle.
What a fantastic place to ride! Thanks for sharing!! 🙏🏻
Cheers Tor, I really enjoyed this one as the road was so quiet.
Making me homesick Bleary!
Wonderful road and reasonable weather to boot 🫡😁

great road Alex .... just love those views 😎😎😎
Morning Howie, spot on, a great road with stunning views although it is so much busier during the summer months, I caught the road at the best time.
Stunning Alex just so beautiful ride safe mate
Cheers Dave, another one for you to think about when you head north next year.

Next time I'm up your way I'll definetely do that one . Thanks .
It well worth the effort. Thanks for the comment.
That looks like a nice relaxing ride. Hope you enjoyed it!

Magnificent, Alex-perfect lighting too. Thank you for showing us this terrific road (predictive text wanted to say 'terrifying' 🤣🤣
Morning Peter, the road could described as terrifying at certain points but it also lets us see mother nature at her best. I loved riding this one.
More great views Alex, that'll be the direction I go when I ride through Glen Quaich 👍
Evening Mick, it a terrific road but it gets a lot busier in summer months, lots of folk walk up the very steep hill from Kenmore but once you get past that lot it normally pretty clear.
@blearyview2254 I'll probably be on Bobby so navigating the walkers shouldn't be too difficult 👍
