    What does it mean if i cant raise my leg on one side

    I can do this with left leg. But while trying with right leg. My knee hurts and i can barely lift my right leg. What could be reason?

      In answer to your other question as well, pain can create inhibition, that is, it makes it harder to use a muscle to its full capacity. Typically if an exercise is painful we'd recommend finding a painfree alternative. There are some cases where a tolerable amount of pain is permissible.
