Camodo, the V8 Motor WILL actually work in the tow truck; it is not position-dependent! The problem you are having is the TYPE of coolant tank, the V8 needs a bigger one (such as the one from the Fury, Bus, or Diesel Truck) to be most efficient.

The V8 engine on the tow truck definitely works, you just need a better condition radiator, the ones you tried were in pretty much the worst and second worst condition they can be. Also, using the V8 in the tow truck without turbos definitely isn't worth it, since it only increases top speed by about 20 kph, but using a turbo'd V8, since it's FWD, it wheelspins like crazy and increases the top speed and acceleration by a landslide. Also, without a vehicle on the back, it is the best handling vehicle ingame

Heh I put a bus motor in mine, without turbo it maxes at 80, but as they said you need a good radiator and it needs to be full of water!
the v8 motor pretty much requires the fury's radiator

I remember when your channel colours were black and red, those two colours are my favourite colours to put together, so I liked that a lot! Maybe use the big truck engine, that might be better, bit more speedy and powerful but might not bug out as much as the V8..? I think taking the bike would be better than the car, you could get two bikes, put both on where the cars wheels would go?

Funnily enough, I actually loaded a new save to find a rollback as well and it was at the first stop I went to. Sure, I had to improvise and dismantle the Trabant I had, but hey, I found a Van variant, stripped it out and now I have a running rollback... without a car to put on it. Damn!
I wanna try stacking tow trucks onto eachother until it breaks everything you could make a nice tower lmao infinite cars tho might need some anti weight and better speed mods! Great video idea for you tho.
you can use one of the 80 litter barrels in place of the detachable tanks to increase fuel capacity

Camodo i have the flat bed looking version of the new truck n put the v8 with a large radiator n it heats up but slowly if u floor it too long. The temp gets to nearly 100 degrees according to a mod that lets u see speed, temp n fuel among other details but i havent seem my truck shut off or anything yet. Maybe the towtruck version works differently idk but maybe its the added weight of the car on the back. I have the default engine in the back just in case n some containers. Also on my passenger seat is the combined weight of 3 ankle biters xD. Also i put tires that are a bit larger since the v8 does actually almost scrape the ground without them n that is dangerous in TLD. I get alot of wheel spin with good tires but its controllable if u dont gas it to high speeds. Tho it wouldnt be a camodo vid if u didnt crash at least once. Love u n your vids man, take care.

Different radiators give a different amount of cooling. I've been using the Lada 2105 and the VW Golf Radiator with the V8 on the Van version. They do well enough except on extreme hills. I just haven't been lucky enough to find the Fury Radiator yet.

comodo what if you find wood planks and convert the back of it to were it can not only carry cars but it can become a pick up truck as well like put wood on to make a wall on the sides and cover the middil part and you get a pickup/towtruck hibrid what do you think? ps love your vids
Camodo there is a secret room in the WELL.
Spam your USE key to randomly the floor for like 5-10 seconds, press ESC and press ESC again to go back in the game and boom you are in the secret room that gives some good items

If you need some info about the cars:
The base for the trailer is a Barkas B1000, made in East Germany. The trailer versions weren't actually factory made, they were made custom by a Hungarian company, for the local "AA patrol", to help transport broken down cars. Only a few dozens were built.
The car on the roof is a Wartburg 353, which is what the Barkas is based on. The engine and transmission are the same, and most of the chassis as well.
The v8 definitely works, your radiator was just in so bad shape, and probably wasnt full of water either. The gas oil mixture wasnt right either. The v8 is a pure gas engine, so that oil could also be killing it a little
Mine works fine with a V8 (6.8l with big turbo, it's stupid fast). You need to attach the radiator to the motor before you attach the engine to the truck

I saw the new car in A.I. traffic mod in older version but like you were not able to open parts or swap parts from the car unlike now just like Karl it also didn't had interiors...I think they also added new versions of the same new car.... Like the one you got in this episode it also has a sedan version I think....I always like the Long Drive episodes

I would like them to add a Battery, Alternator, And Battery Charger. Much More Like MySummerCar. When Finding Abandoned Cars In Rusty Condition, The Batteries Are Dead, And Won't Crank The Engine

the motorcycle can use a volkswagen engine for a massive speed increase
The genie lamp is bassicaly a flashlight. It was one model for a temporary flashlight and it stays lit when in your inventory aswell

More likely its overheating because there isn't enough water in the radiator. It only had like 3.2 Lt unless you filled the car one with more from the truck one off screen.
. Rusty radiators lose water and provide less cooling per litre. Your going to need a full Bus or Fury Radiator in decent condition I'd say, although 5lt in a clean radiator might help.
Wherever it locks into is correct doesn't matter that its wrong way round.
Don't forget to close the fuel tank I saw it leak out when you wrecked with that car on the back
