Ink is often underestimated but he fights while holding back constantly and his vials just seem to weaken him sadly, my headcannon is that his vials are slightly toxic to him which is why he throws them up after a while so he’s weaker while there in effect.
The vials are maybe more of a restraint, given he gets his magical powers from them, just as much as he get his feelings. But, I agree on the fact Ink may be underestimated by a lot of people. Just like most people (or at least those I have seen) tend to make out Dream and Blue for weaker than they are. In canon Underswap, the only reason Blue isnt in the royal guard is because he has 1 HP, not even because of the "he is too kind" problem that Papyrus has. As for Dream, well, people he get the same treatment. (Dream and Blue suffers from the fact that because they are kind, people think they are weak, as if those words were synonimus, when they aren't.) Ink meanwhile get the backlash of people being upset at him when they realises he isn't as kind as they are, but rather selectiely kind to people. (Either he has something to gain, or you are just not on his bad side)
Ink is overestimated, people who have Ink as their favorite make him some super-duper strong know-it-all, when in reality the dude is the shortest of all Sanses and can be punted like a football as well as being easily bodied by Killer alone, lmao

And, as far as I remember, when people say that Ink get "bodied" by Killer, they talk about a fight where Killer only had a single HP. So, Killer was fighting, sure, but I doubt Ink was really fighting him (given that he is always holding back and trying not to kill our creations, he litterally was in a situation where he couldn't allow himself to even hurt Killer without risking him to die)

If Killer was in reality enough to body Ink, I doubt Nightmare would have such a hard time killing Dream and getting rid of Positivity. Plus, if you wanna go by that arguement, I know there is also a comic of Killer defeating Blue, who survived because Papyrus and Chara got there in time. So, Nightmare must be quite incompetent, if Killer can take care of both of Dream's teammates by himself and still fail to capture him... which is out of character with Nightmare this time, don't you agree ?

Honestly… I think its a bad idea for Nightmare to target the vials… The vials could be the only thing really to make Ink actually “care” about them and makes him regret his actions. Otherwise, he’ll have literally no attachments and no remorse and not hold back. Besides, can’t really attack nor really “kill” something that is soulless, unless you literally demolish them.
Ink can’t even move when he’s emotionless. He becomes what he truly is- a soulless husk. He can’t move, he can’t think. He just stares blankly, forever- until more “feelings” wash onto him from AUs.
Fun fact: ink is very easy to defeat if you take his vials, canonically if he doesn’t have his vials he basically becomes equivalent to a doll, and doesn’t react to anything, he also becomes monochrome.

I’m just gonna give some reaction vids of ink that I recommend to use for part 2 if you wanna: Absolute territory, God-ish, and Spring storm. These are some of my most favorites of Ink sans! Loved this reaction vid!! ❤️😙✌️
Good choice. Spring storm is especially interesting with the part about "wishing to be loved is a sin" (or something like this) which is a very sad mentality to have but that Ink may have developped in at least some stories. (Hell, I am not even sure he dares to visit his fathers as much as he could because he is afraid to be a bother and maybe also because he has a lot of work) The part where it shows the creators too in this note, because yeah, since there are creators everywhere on earth, this mean Ink always have someone to help.
Though, I would suggest to add to the selection the musical video of "Chromatica", from xXtha (This one : ua-cam.com/video/Kl6_fNry67c/v-deo.html ). It is pretty good I think and represent Ink well. The fact he is energic, chaotic but with surprisingly calm moment by time (showed by how he stay still just vibing to the tune when there is no lyrics)
