Wow ! I wish I could do a set in 7 mins! I take 2 hours 😞but I do fully sculpt and I’m am a perfectionist constantly going over it again to make sure! Nails look great by the way!
I do nails, and as for as application of acrylic and polishing she did an awesome job. Her level of skill is that of a master technician who has been doing nails for 10+ years. That is nail glue on her hand that she accidently spilled. Everyone saying how she forgot this or that doesn't know what they're talking about. She prepped before the video started to show you the acrylic part as fast as possible. Stop hopping on a bandwagon saying there are mistakes.
There are in fact multiple mistakes and a trained professional would know that. Unless of course they are also making the same mistakes and therefore they are only agreeing so that it seems like an acceptable way. And before it's said I am not referring to her using the one ball method as that is an acceptable way to apply acrylic, the rest of it is the problem.
Don't want to throw race into this but I have noticed that Asian nail techs do things in a quicker more efficient way to maximize how many people we do and not have them sitting in our chair for hours. Clients get tired of being there for long periods of time too. The times that I've worked with/ observed how American techs do nails I was wondering how they make any money. Their clients are there for hours sometimes since they want to do everything by the book. I've made chump change working for Americans vs working for Asians. Just some food for thought.
+Kent Pra there is nothing wrong with being fast the problem is that they were done in a way that could put the client at risk. Being sanitary and safe doesn't require extra time from the client, it requires more of the technician unfortunately some do not feel like it is worth the effort and that is the problem. Money should never make someone put others health at risk.
I am in disbelief at the comments below... no where on here a states that you have to follow what the person in the video is doing. . If you don't like it don't watch it... wow.. who knows how long this person has been doing nails and found a way to make it easier for them one ball method is the easy way for them... and I have seen other videos and they do use primer.. I am just shocked that people would be so negative... you guys obviously need help with acrylic application otherwise you would not have searched tutorials on acrylic application ; ) keep posting videos I like watching them.
You can clearly tell the nails were prepped before she started the video. They are buffed and the cuticles clean. She took care of everything before tape started. And i have NEVER had anyone wear gloves when doing my nails so what the hell are you people talking about ? And as a military wife i spent time getting my nails done in several different states at many different salons. No gloves. She is really really good and a lot of folks are obviously jealous. Just because you can't do this as good as her is no reason to bash her. Spilt glue on her hands isn't a reason to hate on her either. It's obviously glue. Not filth. Jealous people suck.
Yes! I totally agree! I can't believe the people on the Internet. Her skin is from a glue accident, making them extremely dry. And everyone get cuts once in a while!!
Heather Welberry my issue is the dirty pre used nail file, block buff and e-file bit. Cross contamination. The client before could of had anything infectious.
Not only is this poor girl's skin dry but the glue is still on her. She probably hasn't had 2 seconds to peel it off. Doing acrylic nails is a huge learning curve in the business and to see her doing those ratios like a ninja is inspiring!
Unless she drags her fingers on the floor when she walks, those nails are obviously prepped beforehand. Nail prep is time consuming and boring to have to sit through if it's on every nail video LOL
i agree with using the scissor , cause i used scissor too, they're much easly when cutting the edge for coffin, or stillito set. and i like the way she place the acrylic on the nail, just one time apply, not three, or four time.
I think she did a fabulous job. I would love to be able to do my nails in seven minutes instead of the length of time that it takes me. And the one ball...would love to be able to get that done. Takes a lot of practice to do what she did in the amount of time that she did it. Great job they look fabulous.
you did a great job. this is how a person thats done nails for years does them. most people will play follow the leader on bad comments. if ya didnt. then dont say the same thing. next dont claim to know how to do this if you havent. she has done more than one set, and probably goin to do more. keep up the good work.... just remember god dont like ugly...
Amazes me that everything we learned at school all the studying, tests., practices etc. Specially on the hygiene matter, not a single nail salon follows anything that taught us... Lol!
Karla Kristina I agree. I almost always use disposable files and buffers because it disgusts me how many times people reuse them. Its bot like they are super pricey to have several
to all the people complaining its not your place to make a judgement because you're not the person who is getting their nails done and if the client doesn't care you shouldnt either i understand everyone has their own opinion but if its not nice then keep it to yourself
Thank you Dee, I have not replied to that persons comment because I know the truth about myself, my nail career and the success of my nail career/salon, plus it gave me a good giggle because that comment is so far from the truth that it is hilarious. Any decent/great nail tech knows that quality wins EVERY time over time and our clients are never going to be return clientele if our nails don't last the distance because they have been rushed and a perfect job has not been done and it is because I pride myself in quality not quantity as to why I have the great career I have. I hope that where ever you are in your nail career that you are successful in every way:)
i think he/she did a great job. so what their hands have glue on them? That doesn't mean they weren't washed. To me, it means they cared enough about the quality of the work they sacrificed their hands... glue doesn't come off with soap any water. Why would a nail tech wear gloves? I feel it would make the work sloppy. The Acrylic application was about 7 min. Then oil and polish was applied. Yes, its good to use primer, but it isn't always necessary, honestly. I think you did a great job and the one ball method looks amazing!
For those of you who are bitching about the nail tech not wearing gloves; gloves are not to keep you safe, they are only to keep the wearer safe. Gloves are not sterile, so customers are not going to be any safer from anything if the tech is wearing them. Even in hospitals, gloves are worn to protect the doctors, not the patients. She did prep the nails, you can clearly see that before she starts applying the acrylic. Educate yourself before bitching about everything.
I think its pretty self explanatory. It took 7 minutes to apply a full set of acrylic*. Not 7 minutes to do the nails AND design. That's not what the title says 😐 Basic reading comprehension 😐
a “full set of acrylic nails” entails natural nail prep, tips, acrylic application, file/shaping, and design/polish a full set isn’t just applying the acrylic
It's fine to think negatively about her work....but to comment and be rude about it??? If you have nothing nice to say DONT FUCKING COMMENT YOUR TWO CENTS ON HERE
i want to be like "that's improper technique" and all that but...even though it's the faster way doesn't mean it's worse :P it honestly looks pretty damn good in less amount of time, too. thick, yes, but i think people are overreacting just because it's a different way of doing it than usual :P good job :)
They are called chop shops. I’ve been doing nails 25 years and I’m still under the work ethic mindset that for me, I could do a full set of nails in a short period of time, but are they going to be total quality, are they going to be my best work… No. I prefer, to take my time within reason to do the best job that I can do and that includes from prepping the nail and educating the client while I’m doing the NAILS to the last step of the design or polish and continuing education during the session. I think this goes for anything that we do in life. I feel like my best quality of work is when I take my time and I am focused. If I’m being rushed because other people feel like, “oh my gosh, I Need to get in and out. I got to go over to the chop shop so they’ll get me in and out in 35-40 minutes”… OK, now you have lifting nails, you have cracked nails, you have yellow nails, you have chipped polish & your topcoat is DULL AF! Hell no. I tell people that I book clients A certain timeframe for different services, so for a full set of acrylic, it might be an hour and a half to two hours depending. It might be an hour… I don’t know, but for me, I’m not to be rushed. I want the client to have quality service. I need to make sure that they understand this is the time you’re going to be here, approximately. When people walk into the chop shops, “you can sit down pick your polish”. They don’t care about the health of your nails. They just care about getting you in and out and making that paper. I’m not about that. I myself, don’t really care how much time people take to do things for me that I need done, like fixing my car, doing my nails, my hair, painting my house… anything, because I want them to do quality work. I don’t want him rushing and I tell them that you don’t have to rush my oil change, because you might accidentally leave the cap to my oil spout off or forget to. rotate my tires, which comes with oil changes free. So take your time. I think clients appreciate that because I tell people upfront, “this is not going to be an in and out service. I take my time” I make sure that my clients are satisfied and that the client is looking at the NAILS throughout the process: the way THEY have to look at them every day, not me.
nail tech 24 yrs. I moved to a city where its been hard finding a nail salon to work at that isn't a chop shop! I missed working so bad I took a job at a chop shop! I hate it! clients freak me out how they want a beautiful set of nails with art in 30 mins! I've never worked like this and the quality of my sets is not what I'm used to giving. also the prices are super CHEAP! I am praying to find a better place to work other than a chop shop! its mind blowing!!!!
stop hating in the her. she can cut a video and upload however she wants. her hands are hard working hands unlike some ungrateful people who come from wealthy backgrounds and dont understand.
Oh wow that was so fast! I am not trained, and have only done 2 complete sets (on my self) of acrylics and it took me HOURS! lol, lots and lots of filing. I'd love to learn how to do the "one ball" method. Thanks for the great video, and just ignore the negativity : to each their own :D You did great!
Everyone has their own methods and opinions, the truth is whatever works for you is the best way and I've been told that by so many other nail techs professional and amateurs
I gave you a thumbs up. Ignore all of the negative comments. The only suggestion I have is to write the accurate time for the procedure. Keep up the good work!
the pore girl even bleeds a bit at her cuticel area well done !!!! you wanna do it so quick but a good and save job you cant even bring because you wanna be so fast
As a licensed nail tech I saw so many wrong things with this method. I didn't see any nail prep. No buffing or primer. The tips weren't even fitted. Just plain lazy application. Also that file and buffer looked SO dirty. They probably used it on 15 other clients before using it on her. So disgusting.
I love watching your videos I could watch them for hours I know u record at work but I want to request if u did some as a talk threw I would love to hear and explain how u do some techniques and why you choose those thank you keep up the great work
I don't care about her hands or how fast they were done. No dehydrator, no primer. If I was a paying customer I want everything done right, not fast & rushed. This client will be back in a week w/problems.
This is the best acrylic and liquid on nail application . I have never seen it before. Great liquid and powder RATIO. No need to wipe brush. No need to file, just buff, color...and go!
I have one problem with this video. no prep work done. cuticles not pushed back, skin on nail plate not removed. no sanitizing nails prior to application. no dehydrator or primer. the work is fast and that's great, but very important steps are left out.
when the video started it looked like the nails had just had a set removed. presumably the nails have been buffed, prepped and cuticles pushed back before the video started... makes it a cheat about the whole '7 minutes thing' though since they didn't start with nails in a natural state
+Ami Carter you can see at the start where her nails have had the top layer filed down and cuticles pushed bk. although he ddnt file the nail so it was level with the nail plate which will cause lifting and breaking.
She did all that before the video started. The cuticles are not there, sugar. And trust me when I tell you that the client, especially black (yea I said it and anyone in the business say it too), would happily let this tech know if she didn't prep the nail. I assure you she did.
You couldn't tell the nail plate was filed all to hell? They obviously did prep work before they started filming. Which furthers my issue with the whole 7 minute title of the video. The damn video is almost 12 minutes lol.
All the ppl hating on this woman are ppl that just like to talk shit!!! Maybe she didn't have to buff out the acrylic as much cuz thats how good she is damn??? Great job btw
You are totally missing applying L&P to one corner of each nail. This will compromise the nail bigtime. Speed is not everything but quality is, this is how you get return clients.
***** Was that really necessary? The personal attack was uncalled for. Shazvana is right; quality > speed. I would rather my nail tech take her time to do a quality job, than speed through the process, possibly injuring MYself in the process.
Drill with that bit so close to the cuticle and with that speed...a big concern. And.... the biggest concern I have is for YOUR OWN HANDS and not your work/speed. Personal presentation and hygiene and safety plays a key role in the beauty industry. PLEASE, get your skin checked for dermatitis/eczema/ acrylic liquid allergy. Moisturise them well and wear some gloves. No offense intended.
Cam on nhe. I've learn a few things from this video. My preferences; short , super-thin, natural-look as it can be, sometime thick depend how hard they are with their nails. Pink & White , very thin layer is what I like to work on the most. Keep up the great work geektutorial101
I sure hope you used this file on the same person. If not then your gonna transfer bacteria to this person... Always make sure ppl who are doing your nails use clean tools and files even e-file bands.
If you guys pay attention more that this client had no nail so the nail tech put on the small amount for the overlay to build more room on the nail plate, so that could glue the tips on, the nail tech did pre- sections on client's nail then he/she performs the acrylic put on ! good luck!
I'm not sure if the video had been edited or not, however, if it has some vital points have skipped when it comes to nails... Not to mention lack of finish when it came to buffing :/ -prepping and sanitizing the nails is imperative to avoid lifting. -the tips weren't blended into the nail -over use of glue -non pinching of the nail whilst the acrylic was setting -no buffing with a file of the entire nail before block buffing. The nails are too wide and flat, they look like diving boards. Yes they were a quick set, however I personally believe it's more about the quality of the service you provide your clients...
Question, why do you glue the tips that way? Do you get less or no air bubbles that way? Thanks, and I hope I can get the one ball method like you. Good job girl!
Why did I suppose such negative comments he probably use voice recognition and it read 7 instead of 11 but whatever that's unimportant he did a great job and he probably prep the nails before he posted the video you dread if you don't like what are you doing Turn The Damn Channel he did a great job or she
with work like this....all I can say is to ya'll is... "you can come back and get a new "shit", sorry I meant "set" tomorrow! wtf is this? and why the hell are these customers doing here. this is one of the most shitty work in the nail biz. And I am reminding both customers and nails salon out there......know what you are paying for..... and asian nail techs.....please give people the proper works that they deserve.
OMG I am a licensed nail Tech and that poor girl should not have acrylics put on at that time. Her nails were so damaged and drilled on. The drill bit was dirty and so was the file. Cheep and fast is all these "Nail Shops" care about. They don't care about the clients health. So sad
hygienic issues asside (and clearly there was no regard for hygiene at all) the ball application was ingenious! i've never seen an application technique like that before. two thumbs up for that! that being said, and we'll still not talk about the hygiene issues at hand (pun intended), since the technician saved so much time on applying the acrylic, perhaps more time could have been used in applying the nail polish. the cuticles were almost painted on a few of the fingers. a simple clean up around the nails, both before and after the polish application, would have done wonders for the final result.
let me tell you something the two mistake is she or he does not apply the primer and does not thin out the nails and the end. 1 her/his method of applying the acrylic is top of the best skill out there that why you don't need you use the drill, 2.how they put the color on is very skillful .
Wow ! I wish I could do a set in 7 mins! I take 2 hours 😞but I do fully sculpt and I’m am a perfectionist constantly going over it again to make sure! Nails look great by the way!
Hi Rhonda! I am a newly licensed nail tech, and I wanted to know since your comments 2years ago, have you gotten faster.
Wondering the same!! Hope she answers 😬
Im licensed and it takes me up 2 hours for a full set
How do you do this, technique??
As a nail tech myself, I am in awe. Absolutely amazing.
Your single bead method is awesome
Eva Kirszenstein Nail techs always use bead methods -.- so its not really a tip or anything. .....
I do nails, and as for as application of acrylic and polishing she did an awesome job. Her level of skill is that of a master technician who has been doing nails for 10+ years. EXACTLY
this!!!

Jealous people really do suck 😭
i agree with using the scissor , cause i used scissor too, they're much easly when cutting the edge for coffin, or stillito set. and i like the way she place the acrylic on the nail, just one time apply, not three, or four time.
I think she did a fabulous job. I would love to be able to do my nails in seven minutes instead of the length of time that it takes me. And the one ball...would love to be able to get that done. I watch this video when I'm being too slow at work. Seems to help me. Great job. I hope this video stays here forever.
THE SKILL!!! IMMACULATE. i love the way she applied the glue. so clever
Amazes me that everything we learned at school all the studying, tests., practices etc. Specially on the hygiene matter, not a single nail salon follows anything that taught us... Lol!
Karla Kristina school never taught us about nails honey. What school did you go to “Lol!”
I agree Karla. Also, I would almost bet that although her seemingly effortless slay of the one ball acrylic, IS in fact FULL of air bubbles!
Jocelyn Sanchez NAIL SCHOOL
Karla Kristina I agree. I almost always use disposable files and buffers because it disgusts me how many times people reuse them. Its bot like they are super pricey to have several
Jocelyn Sanchez nail school, where you learn about nails. "Lol!" 😂

you can tell this is the type of nail tech that cares more about quick money than a quality job.
Bellagothika bullshit
You ever had a nail client before? They don't seem to understand that quality is a l o n g process, so to please them, faster is better
ooh calm down it's just a quick tutorial if y'all didn't notice

Ye khan se milen gen plzzz tell me
You couldn't tell the nail plate was filed all to hell? They obviously did prep work before they started filming. Which furthers my issue with the whole 7 minute title of the video. The damn video is almost 12 minutes lol.
All the ppl hating on this woman are ppl that just like to talk shit!!! Maybe she didn't have to buff out the acrylic as much cuz thats how good she is damn??? Great job btw
Just love watching your work, you make it so fast & easy. What size bit you use?
You are totally missing applying L&P to one corner of each nail. This will compromise the nail bigtime. Speed is not everything but quality is, this is how you get return clients.
Says the person it take 4 hours to do a fullset lol u could never do awesome nails like this #notalent
***** Was that really necessary? The personal attack was uncalled for. Shazvana is right; quality > speed. I would rather my nail tech take her time to do a quality job, than speed through the process, possibly injuring MYself in the process.
all you people complaining about using dirty files come to my store we use all new files and buffers on each client 65$ full set 45$ fill :)
Totally agree it looks like over exposure to chemicals, it can turn nasty I would get it checked xxx
stacy mcarthur she replied to an earlier comment that she accidentally spilled nail glue on herself :)
stacy mcarthur in other videos her hands look just fine
It looks like a safety bit to me. You can touch her cuticles with a safety bit!
Cam on nhe. I've learn a few things from this video.
My preferences; short , super-thin, natural-look as it can be, sometime thick depend how hard they are with their nails. Pink & White , very thin layer is what I like to work on the most. Keep up the great work geektutorial101
I'm here to learn how to apply the aclyrics well by avoiding the cuticle area and I have learnt something!!! 🙌🙌
I sure hope you used this file on the same person. If not then your gonna transfer bacteria to this person... Always make sure ppl who are doing your nails use clean tools and files even e-file bands.
I’m here for it!
If you guys pay attention more that this client had no nail so the nail tech put on the small amount for the overlay to build more room on the nail plate, so that could glue the tips on, the nail tech did pre- sections on client's nail then he/she performs the acrylic put on ! good luck!
I’m a beginner nail tech, and it takes me 3-4 hours rn for a long set. 2-3 for short. Ugh I can’t wait to be like this ONE DAY😫
Awesome geektutorial101! Best nail video I seen by far! Now which acrylic powder and monomer liquid do you use???
advance powder fas set, nomma plus liquid.
Awesome thank you! :)
Wuooooo, me encantó, lo fácil que se ve, lo pondré en práctica con mi pincel 🖌 #18
Amazing. Well done!
I'm not sure if the video had been edited or not, however, if it has some vital points have skipped when it comes to nails... Not to mention lack of finish when it came to buffing :/
-prepping and sanitizing the nails is imperative to avoid lifting.
-the tips weren't blended into the nail
-over use of glue
-non pinching of the nail whilst the acrylic was setting
-no buffing with a file of the entire nail before block buffing.
The nails are too wide and flat, they look like diving boards. Yes they were a quick set, however I personally believe it's more about the quality of the service you provide your clients...
the nails look lovely
Question, why do you glue the tips that way? Do you get less or no air bubbles that way? Thanks, and I hope I can get the one ball method like you. Good job girl!
For me, this way is easy to control the glue, and just enough dry fast.
yes less air bubbles and it holds better
Do you know how rich I would be if I did nail sets in seven minutes God please give me the skill
I did not see you prep her nails. Is this something you omitted out or you just dont do it?
she ask not to file her nailback .that why i dont do it.
Incredible ! What style brush are you using?
*.* ..it's so beautiful...!!! What do you use for do this ??
Fast? Yeah. Lifting? Oh definitely.
Was there oil put on before the polish? Wont that make it lift?
good job...... that why skin stick a lots of glue .... i think you do so much fullset .. a day:):):)
If you dont want natural looking nails then this is it.
Great method, what about long nails, how long do you usually take?
I’d like to try her or him to do my nails in real person. See how it goes 😂
Guys is the state board check on this?
I would've loved to know what brand products she used and the size of her brush 😕
Why did I suppose such negative comments he probably use voice recognition and it read 7 instead of 11 but whatever that's unimportant he did a great job and he probably prep the nails before he posted the video you dread if you don't like what are you doing Turn The Damn Channel he did a great job or she
that's not a he
with work like this....all I can say is to ya'll is...
What acrylic is that
Bla bla bla..haters gone hate..great job great technique
Yes but nail prep and manicure isn't counted
clients nails look very unhealthy, the nail person has dirt under finger nails, she has glue from previous customers all over, just seems unsanitary
OMG I am a licensed nail Tech and that poor girl should not have acrylics put on at that time. Her nails were so damaged and drilled on. The drill bit was dirty and so was the file. Cheep and fast is all these "Nail Shops" care about. They don't care about the clients health. So sad
it's disgusting!!
Hello new subby🤗🤗 this is so satisfying to watch and the acrylic is butter, butter😍😍😍😍
I love your work, what size brush do you use?
how do you spill glue by accident? unless you have a bowl full.......
hygienic issues asside (and clearly there was no regard for hygiene at all) the ball application was ingenious! i've never seen an application technique like that before. two thumbs up for that!
that being said, and we'll still not talk about the hygiene issues at hand (pun intended), since the technician saved so much time on applying the acrylic, perhaps more time could have been used in applying the nail polish. the cuticles were almost painted on a few of the fingers. a simple clean up around the nails, both before and after the polish application, would have done wonders for the final result.
After you glued the plastic tips on the nail, did you file on the surface of the plastic tips?
yaw is doing the absolute most like calm down and stop rushing on the nails so they look like perfection and stop the noise in the back round😒😒😒
Excellent!
thanks!
Great job! Love your vids
I really want to know what kind of polimer is she using please or the acriluc brand please cuz im in love of the color
Geek tutorial what brush do you use and what size is it?
What nail brush did you use and the size looks great
This exactly how the shop did my nails too
Didn't you prep nail bed etc or was that cut out?
Thats great!
thanks!
The whole process is just unprofessional..
chị. cái lúc bỏ bột lên xong vuốt xuống. e vuốt nó hay bị dính bột lên cọ lắm. hoặc bột nó trôi theo nên nó hay bị lõm ở trên. c bày e ạ
are you wetting the brush to keep moulding? are you dipping it back into the monomer? I am having problems with my application. please help
let me tell you something the two mistake is she or he does not apply the primer and does not thin out the nails and the end. 1 her/his method of applying the acrylic is top of the best skill out there that why you don't need you use the drill, 2.how they put the color on is very skillful .
Very nice & quick!!!
You're amazing keep up the great work
