After spending a couple years living in Southern Mexico, I discovered that many of the 20-30-somethings are over educated with advanced degrees and no positions to fill. Many take up multiple piecework jobs to make ends meet. The point I'd like to make is that agriculture and kitchen work isn't the only industries Hispanics are able to appropriate. and be proficient in. I can't speak for South Americans that aren't Mexican, but from what I know in my heart from traveling the world 12 knots at a time (by boat) ..., Mexicans are wholly underestimated and viewed in a negative light due to Narcos and the corrupt government. Big hearts, endless generosity, and very capable..., America could use more of these genuine assets, I just hope legal crossing becomes the norm soon.
