    Thank you for this demo chuck! Though, I have been developing applications for a while, this demonstrated a structured approach in helping business to solve their own challenges.

      Clarification - the demo starts at 24:25. Context is important to many people. I wouldn't expect someone to learn to drive a car by watching someone else without teaching them some of the fundamentals first.

    between UI policy Action and UI policy script which will run first?

    • @ChuckTomasi
      @ChuckTomasi 3 роки тому +2

      Based on a quick test I did, it appears the actions run before the scripts. I made a string field hidden with the action and in the script, I put content in to the field. I never saw the field get populated which means it was hidden by the action before it got populated by the script.

    The first 20 minutes or so talks about building an application and why you might want to do it. No hands-on. Start at ua-cam.com/video/3n71TcUw0x4/v-deo.html for the meaty things.

    Is there any way to add images in our application without coding?

    • @ChuckTomasi
      @ChuckTomasi 4 роки тому +1

      Adding images is available several places. You could add an image field to a standard UI form, you can add images to Service Portal widgets with HTML. I would need to dig deeper to find out what the options are (outside reporting) for the native mobile apps.

      @@kuchbhi6018 You would create the applet via Studio under Mobile Development. docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-mobile/page/administer/tablet-mobile-ui/concept/mobile-studio.html
