i appreciate the fact that you take working class people into account when you address your audience. i noticed it when you said “some people work an hour for a bottle of beige”.
I'm working class. I work 40 hours a week and lucky to take home 13,000 a year. Not a hope I can afford £30 for a bottle of foundation. I leave every morning at 6 am and come home at 8pm.
I am far from a pyjama wearer. I would make more being on high rate dla in the UK but don't.
Kat Cymru The ‘pyjama dolies’ are the people on benefits - that really shouldn’t be, they are not working class. Working class typically live on council estates and work damn hard to earn a decent wage to keep a roof over their heads.

kmac1809 I agree. I think a video doing the same look twice is really interesting - high end makeup with high end vs budget brushes or budget makeup with high end vs budget brushes. I think a good brush makes all the difference.

Also you made such a good point- the Revolution Stick Foundation is 1 hours work for a 16 year old, The Revlon Colour stay is about three hours work and as for something like Mac studio fix, it’s something like five hours. FIVE HOURS that almost one day of work 😮. some people can only afford very cheap make up. And it’s nice that that a influencer is is finally showing people that you can make cheap makeup work. So thank you 😃 💕

So refreshing when people review makeup with those who don’t have much money or teens in mind. I used to work for like £550 a month and 270 of that was my rent. And I don’t know about anyone else but all my makeup always runs out at the same time, so it was always a £30-40 shop in Superdrug at once and it’s a big chunk when you don’t earn much. (That god for their 3 for 2 offers when they’re on)
That all does not look like something from the pound shop, it looks like high-end makeup products, it looks so nice especially the eye look 😍❤️
Please can you do an MUA testing video? They've come out with so many new products recently particularly a full coverage concealer, rose blushes etc. 💕

Omg Natural collection was the first foundation I ever owned, I was 15 and had no idea I would need to try shades! I got like 5th lightest (I now wear fair foundations, just to give a perspective of my skin tone), and I knew I looked orange but it was back in concealer lips days so I thought I looked the bomb...

I feel like this kind of stuff is perfect for young teenagers (like we used to with dream matte mousse, Barry m and mua) and they learn to make them work before they start getting more money and buying make up rev, then up to more expensive products. I think the bronzer was nice (doubt theg make it in my shade tho)

We had to learn the hard way how to make mediocre products work on a teen budget. That way when we can get the nicer stuff it’s *really* nice

I've been trying to tell people how good the Poundland lipsticks are!! Honestly disappointed in myself because I bought a nyx soft matte lip cream and then I realised it was so similar to the Poundland ones I already had. Might have to get that brow kit tho
Tbh the Poundland face powder is really good I remember buying it just to use while I was out and it actually turned out really nice in the end xx
Definitely the best Poundland makeup review I've seen. You apply the makeup the same to actually give a similar review rather than purposely make Poundland look bad and you remind us that although it's not the best, it only costs a pound! Plus, you look amazing in the end like when you were applying the bronzer I was thinking it would turn out terrible but that final look is on point! You go, girl!
Wilkinsons makeup is worth trying.. they have amazing ranges of everything and their primer stands out for me 🤗

I really love how real she is! Like anyone else would have just been sooo negative about that but she just is very objective and gives the good and bad points and doesnt go all dramatic like literally everyone else would
I use Poundland foundation everyday and as long as you get a shade lighter than your colour it oxidisers to your natural colour and the coverage is actually good

I've personally found through trial and error that primer and foundation is what you're best spending a little more money on to get better quality. Cheaper powders, concealers and lip and eye makeup products can at times be fine.

Great save on the foundation. What was orange turned out to be a very nice look. Your eyes were beautiful! Good look for cheap is what is wonderful. We can all appreciate that.

I think it looks lovely. Impressed by all the various things you did that all come together to make the look. I grew up in the 70's and none of us learned that sort of magic. Even now I'm just "bit of mascara, bit of lippy, job done".
