My family previously never questioned an election and never disputed the justice system. They have lost their way because of one singular crybaby criminal. Just like Revelations foretold
There once was a worker at a jewelry store who became concerned about the way his town was being run. He was very popular with some of the townsfolk and it looked like he was on track to win the next mayoral election. But the mayor and his good friend, the sheriff, had him brought up on charges that he'd once put a pearl necklace in the wrong drawer when closing up at night. The allegation was that even though the drawer was labeled "pearls" they belonged somewhere else and were put in the drawer as part of a conspiracy to affect an election -- or perhaps to hide an affair. The worker had never been convicted of affecting an election or of hiding anything but the local judge (who had donated to the mayor) went along with the prosecution, which was the first of its kind and involved 34 felony counts -- one for each pearl. The trial was fast-tracked in order to take place before the mayoral election, and during the trial the defense expert who would have explained that pearls actually do belong in the pearl drawer was not allowed to testify. Also any potential juror who admitted to liking the defendant in any way, or who was similar in any way to the defendant, was not allowed to participate in the proceedings. During the trial, the judge made many rulings, all of which favored the prosecution, and he made it clear he thought the defendant was basically scum. The prosecutor stated several times that the defendant had committed other crimes not then being adjudged, acting as if this was common knowledge accepted by all. The lone witness for the defense was taken to task by the judge and warned outside of earshot of the jury that he faced jailtime himself if he kept acting like he felt the defendant was innocent.
In the end the jewler was found guilty on all counts, and was denied the right to any appeal to higher authorities any time before election night.
Afterwards, the mayor, with a smirk on his face, told the townsfolk they must trust the system.

I think I'm more curious as to what's going to happen to Letisha James, Alvin Bragg, Engoron and the presiding Judge in the hush money trial than I am the outcome of the conviction.
I do know that a Federal Grand Jury has been convened in the Norther Federal District of New York and that jury was convened within hours of the conviction. If I were the "rat pack" in NY, I'd be very curious about this Grand Jury and its timing.

This was done in a court where ALL of the people who are charging him are of the opposite party. The charges he might be guilty of has the people making the claims which the ONLY evidence is verbal has them under oath making different statements that are completely different. The judge didn't allow a large portion of the evidence into the case that exonerates Trump. This to me is 100% political. Half of congress can be charged with these same crimes yet nobody is doing that.

Trump had about 30 court cases pending in 2016. That was all put on hold when he was President. McConnell said to wait until Trump's term ended for him to be held accountable for anything. Clearly, that's where we are now. Note that this particular case has been stalled for about a year due to Trump's lawyers. So, has no right to complain that it was too close to the election.
