Most of ur oil reviews are you saying the same thing about different oils making others think all oils are good.. This engine oil totally value for money for those who have 150-200 cc bikes, trust me I'm using this in my glamour xtec & the performance has drastically increased ❤❤
After watching your video I rushed to my hero service centre n got it for my xpulse. My observations are: 1. Shifting from heroes mineral oil this felt like an upgrade in engine smoothness. 2. Gear shifts are less clunky. 3. Engine is more revv happy. 3. Cold start are smooth. 4. Usual city riding till 75kmph is smooth. Problem I'm facing : There's significant reduction in highway characteristics. With default engine oil it used to cruise at 100 at 7000 rpm, But now it's getting to 100kmph @7500-7750 rpm. Which is a bit frustrating. On my weekend rides of 200 km, is used to hit speeds of 100-115 kmph quite a few times. But now it was only hovering around 85-95 . Another major change I felt was engine breaking. It has gone down significantly. Earlier on releasing throttle engine breaking was significant. Now it decelerate slowly. Plz shed some light on my observations.
i own a xpusle 2v had used the semi synthetic for the first 3k kms did lots of highway pull and then switched to hero xotic man the major difference is highway cruising can maintain around 90-100 with slight vibration before i could only maintain around 85-90 , the engine runs way smoother and cold starts are the best its just maintains the 1.5k rpm right from the start , before it used to vary between 1.5-2k rpm for a minute or two, your engine reving 500+ rpm for the same speed is kinda suprising
My experience with xotic 10w 30 for Xpulse provided by hero service is really bad :- 1. Engine overheating even in short distances 2. Since I live in a hilly area often I had to shift to 2nd gear to pull on the hilly highways (even though they aren't that steep) 4. Too much vibrations and noise as if the engine will explode 5. Shifting was hard and hitting way too many neutrals After 6000 kms I switched to Castrol power 1 10w 50 Full syn. 1. Vibrations and engine noise was significantly lower 2. Shifting was smooth and lesser neutrals 3. Was able to easily pull in 3rd gear now ( on hilly highways) 4. Was able to easily hit 80-90s So, Castrol power 1 have better experience than the hero xotic. Both of them gave good mileage thought. Right now I'm at 10k kms n using motul 15w50. Bike is a rocket and eats petrol. Butter smooth.
In my Xpulse 4V ....after first service Xotic plus was filled ...blv me bike became so so smooth.....i am also using liquy moly fuel system cleaner when ever I fill my oil tank full .....and hve ordered liquy moly Mos2 engine oil additive.
Dear brother you should try at least once Idemitsu IRG7 fully synthetic. After using lots of oil Motul 300v, 7100, 5100, Liquimoly fully synthetic, shell full synthetic, tvs fully synthetic, castrol fully synthetic and honda fully synthetic I am just happy with this oil in my Unicorn BS6. I have felt 300v to be the best in almost evey aspect. But this one is very close to 300v and pocket friendly too. Also being a Honda user I am happy that it comes with 10w30 grade with 8.77 TBN, 238 Flash Point and VI of 153 which is very good too.
@@thesportztourer Gear shift and throttole responce become very smooth. High revving is a fun. After 500 km full tank to full tank i achive about 1km more milage per liter from 53.5 to 54.5 km per liter on my daily city commuting home to office and back. Engine noise damping and heat management is like average full synthetic oil, I found 7100 10w40 is better in this department.

Well pls help me out here - I got my new Honda SP 125 bs6 last November'21 and 1st servicing done but I am not satisfied with the Honda engine oil. You should go with that Honda mineral oil till your break-in period of 3000kms (or 4000) is over. Don't put synthetic or semi-synthetic oils till then.
changed back to mineral oil and can clearly feel the hard gearshifts after warm up in hornet 160. Previous experience with shell ultra was good, even under heavy traffic with rough riding the gear shift was decently smooth compared to the honda oil now

If possible for ktm and that too for around 7000 km, so we can understand oil life(atleast after 5000km because most people change fully synthetic after 5000 km). Some companies like Castrol don't have long life engine oils as other companies advertise, so i fear initially oil may be good but whe run longer oil this out too much. I upgraded from the mineral oil in my 3rd service for xpulse 200 2v. the gear shifts are noticibly smoother and engine is feeling little more relaxed on the higher rpm. the total cost came around 1375/- with chain lube and cleaning. they have also provided the bottles for re-use.
My bike runs only 300-400 km in 3 months and the service centre asks me to change the engine oil at every service as the mention company policy. So is it necessary to change such a high price engine oil of 1100 every 3 months??
Motul always better in top end rpm which I feel after use many oil brand only lquimolly can do same job which motul did otherwise all oil performance same if use more in midd n low rang only difference come when u go for higher rpm u get better smoothness n good engine protection

Basically synthetic oil we can use up to 6000km . I use this hero oil in my xpulse 2v bs6 upto 3500 km after 3500 km this oil completely turns to black color and it produce more heat in engine. I think this oil is not good after 3000km, we need to change every 3000km.
Hero's warranty doesn't mention using their own engine oil. They only mention use of same grade of engine oil. But the service should be done in service center.

Is this better than motul 7100. Is shell 100percent synthetic better than motul 7100. I had used motul 5100 semisyntetic 10w30 engine oil after 1300km the engine oil smell has been chsnged to normal and the performance declined a bit and now engine makes somewhat higher noises which were previous. I am an enthusiast like you and didn't find what I expected from semisyntetic motul and to know whether I am getting orginal motul product then I need to scan thebarcode with premium phones from Apple, Samsung and Huawei. Can you please suggest me an synthetic engine oil which never dissapoints with first and second option. Thank you

Yes, that motul oil in particular brought down the mileage for like 100-150 kms after the oil change. Became normal afterwards

Doesnt work well for bs4 carb Xpulse. Engine feels like it's working harder and it struggles more than usual on the highways.

You need 10W30. Don't put 15W or 20W at all. You can use 5W though. I recommend you to put 10W40 fully synthetic oils.
