Zach has gone through sooo much at such a young age. Poor guy. He seems to be super resilient though.
He needs to be nicer to his parents
Yet he chose to genetically pass his dwarfism on to not 1 but 3 children to suffer the painful shunts everyone is commenting on.
Prayers for comfort and healing.
There is nothing better than better than a mother's touch, and the feeling of knowing the patient's family are present.

He has a shunt just like me. It's not fun. My shunt is the newest model. My first shunt which lasted 15 years malfunctioned. Im now almost 19. So I understand his pain. I'm praying for you.
Same. Crazy thing is I’m 24 n I’ve had same shunt knock on wood 23 years

@ivanberry19 I agree it isn't fun. The sad thing is people don't understand sometimes what it's like to have one. To have all that fluid just draining. Especially when you just wake up and get up for the first time. OML I hate it
I remember the first time his shunt broke. He was vomiting repeatedly and he had to have emergency surgery. It’s a lifelong thing he has to deal with and it’s scary.
Yes and all 3 kids have that too look forward too very saf

@johanna- Yeah, I can’t imagine the pain his 3 children he passed his dwarfism on to will suffer. Please feel for them. Zach’s eldest child may end up a cripple with his extremely bowed leg bones.
They have 3 children afflicted with Achondroplasia Dwarfism. And the father who has it is almost always sick. That’s 4 seriously ill people in that family Ms. Tori is going to have to deal with.
Zack will need his parents support. He can’t afford to play tough guy. His health is too fragile. He can’t run a household. He’s too sick. -Let alone a large farm.
Awe - so much to go through / glad he could receive the much needed care
As someone who watched a parent deteriorate and have their life nearly destroyed by cluster migraines, I sympathize with being a witness to pain of that magnitude in someone you love. My thoughts and prayers to him and family. ❤
I heard there's a guy who is now living in his mid 60's said he had his 1st shunt when he was a toddler. He went 6 decades without having a single problem and living his best life.
I"m glad Zach is on the mend. Haven't see you guys in a long time. Need to do a binge watch for the last few years.

i remember when i first started watching the tv show zach had gotten sick amy and zachs dad were right there by his side its very difficult im sure as a parent to see your child in pain im glad he is better i pray he has a speedy recovery.

I know exactly what Zach has gone through with the shunt. I myself was born with Hydrocephalus in 1968, (55 years ago), I had the first shunt put in at 11 days old and have revisions many times and have had more than my fair share of shunt surgeries (most resently last July.). I compare a shunt headache to when people who have very bad migraine headaches where the headaches get very severe

I've delt with migrains all my life. I'm 40 yrs old now and there is a med that's called ajovy and you can get either a needle or epy pen and it works for migrains. I would recommend seeing a neurologist and talk about that.

My daughter in law has a shunt. We thought that would help the migraines. Not helping much.
I used to put warm water in my daughter’s dry dog food when we had her dogs over when they were away and they loved it, made it a bit gravy like 😂❤
