We sang this in my choir in school.. memory lane❤
So beautiful!! This was just recently performed by the high school district chorus in northwestern Pennsylvania!! Certainly a wonderful choice!! The students did an amazing job with it!! I was greatly privileged to be there and experience it with them. Thank you for sharing. A great song for children and soothing for those meeting and healing their inner child as well!!

Personally I like "Jesus, help me" more, it seems to better capture the desperate tone
Jesus is the one. That's forsure.

when my chior did it we sang who will for the first 2, the jesus for the last one to push the power of that last verse, cut to me crying everytime we sang the whole thing
Fr it was kinda annoying how they said “who” instead of “Jesus” but props to your teacher for having you guys say Jesus at the end

It perfectly visualizes Sonias current position, a 6yo Ukrainian girl. She is my sons cousin. She was caught in the middle of the siege of Kyiv Ukraine. Very scared and innocent. They have been on the road for days trying to seek refuge.
Jesus, please be with them through this.
