    Each pixel is made of three parts: red, green and blue. Are those three colors red by the same laser beam, or are three laser beams required?

      It is RF analog video signal. The Chroma signal has the RGB all tucked into one signal.

    Wish he could have explained DVDs, which are made by a similar process as LaserDiscs!

      Except for one thing, Laserdisc is an analog system and DVD is digital, but both have quite similar ways of physical architecture and reading process.
