How did I miss this reaction? Glad I found it lol. Guy was Johnny's coach on The Voice that year and would you believe Guy's young brother Chris Sebastian won it! lol He was coached by Kelly Rowland and she pipped Guy at the post. I don't know why Johnny hasn't had the success he deserves as he was runner up on America's Got Talent and other contests...but his vocals are as you said 'just insane' His audition of "Home" was incredible. ua-cam.com/video/RKXIhcUwkhg/v-deo.html

@@MrsRealistic that is so true because I think you’re genuine and not too many people want to follow someone genuine unfortunately these days. They want more of the smoke and mirrors and pandering to their subscribers favorite artists. And yes, things are getting better thank you.

I thought Johnny should’ve won. Chris Sebastian was great too, But Johnny really took it to another level. There was a bit of a public outcry when he didn’t win. Apparently the voting is done by the public, not by the judges.
Yeah, the same way American idol works... after the initial selection they're judged by the public and usually some really amazing artists end up going home way before they should, while others who are less talented stay on. It's frustrating!
This was fantastic. Guy is just super talented - I'm a huge fan. Johnny? Well he has a fantastic voice and he looks great, but for me, he just doesn't seem to 'connect'. Doesn't have the same warmth as Guy. Anyway, I hope he's been able to make inroads into the music industry because he's obviously someone who wants to sing.

Well hopefully that was for the best... maybe he'll do better as an independent artist! It's worked for a lot of musicians!
