UA-cam randomly suggesting nailbomb is one of the best algorithm blessings ever.
My kind of blessing

This music is wet garbage.
It just got me. This album came out when I was a baby! Never heard it before, 100% into it.
Pure wet garbage.. like when you accidentally leave the lids off the cans and it rains.

Nailbomb is one underrated band with their album Point Blank not only showing they know how to carry a tune but also look like total legends in the process and showing metal music in it's full glory.
"World of Shit" is my favorite piece by them for how much it relates to the negative feelings I have surrounding the injustices of the world and that I'm not alone in feeling why my life and the lives of many other's have been affected in many bad ways by the shityness of the world.
Their other songs on the album are also bangers and one's that definitely pumped me up.
As a whole if you are into metal and fed up with the negativity around you this is band I think is a good place to start with it as these individuals are pure dynamite and one's that definitely can fill you up with lot's of energy.

If you're a Fudge Tunnel fan you'll know that Alex needs more recognition for the riffs and writing on this masterpiece.

We crunked this during my childhood as much as PANTERA , ministry. Slayer. Many people are unaware of NAILBOMB. SOULFLY IS SERIOUSLY GETTING INCREDIBLE.
Max cavalera??
Max mentiened his biggest influencers as finnish HC punk bands as Rattus, Terveet Kädet etc. and here we hear those vibes. Yes, this is/was Max's sideproject.
If Soulfly demonstrated anything, its that Nailbomb was a creation entirely of Alex Newport that happened to have Max singing for him. Even Sepultura has stayed far heavier (and personally much more enjoyable) than Soulfly ever managed. Soulfly is where I went from a Max devotee, to a Max apologist.

It's a shame that it seems like people forget that Alex Newport formed this band with Max. On bass, lead guitar and vocals (can't you hear his voice?). Great project, brilliant album!!!
First heard this album almost exactly 10 years ago. Still stuck in my head. My best friend back then showed me this in a cold night in a park.
Miss these times. Studs, patches, lots of beer and being angry at everything. Never felt so free in my life.
Found this album in a drawer at my college's radio station during my freshman year ('95). Was intrigued by the album art and so popped it in the CD player. Like nothing else I'd ever heard! 23 years later and I'm so glad that this was my introduction to extreme metal.

I remember my friend bought this cassette on accident (long weird/stupid story)back in like 97or98. Anyway, we got back before we looked in the bag, and realized was the wrong tape. We thought about going back to exchange it, but we were just too lazy and in the mood to play video games...I remember my friend saying. "Well the name of the band is cool, and so is the cover"....we put it on, fired up the great N64 to play GoldenEye 007 multiplayer... We were jamming out and all agreed it sounded good. Then, Sum of your Achievements came on, we got quiet and really got into the song. After that we paused the game, re-winded it and listened to it like 2 more times. Damn what a cool song and especially cool sounding when you're really stoned... Wow this is a long post.....Damn time flies by :-/. It's unbelievable to me how I was in high school when this happened. Feels like just a few years ago. The N64 lol...so awesome at the time. I had this record on CD. It was the summer of '94 and I couldn't stop listening to it. Instant classic
"Cockroaches" is just fantastic...
I got this album on cassette when it was released, then bought it a few years later on cd. I still listen to it every now and again, and it never gets old, it still sounds as good as the day it was released!
Thank you UA-cam, don’t know why this was recommended to me, but the UA-cam algorithm had a stroke of genius.
