@@HeartLockHex Hey do you think you could do like a Suguru geto build who is like a monk bard multi-class that summons other monsters flavored as cursed spirits. Not gonna lie if it weren't for the heavenly restriction monk would fit this man, but this build makes it work. Between having no magic yourself and the idea of any magic item you can find or 'acquire' making this work.

Additionally, the Unarmored Movement really seals the deal for this being Toji. The Mobile Feat gives you a total of 60 ft. movement speed, in addition to the Action and Bonus Action Dash on each turn giving you 240 ft. Movement Speed max, definitely superhuman. You can also walk across water and sheer surfaces as long as you're moving, which Toji uses pretty frequently in JJK. The lvl-progression also makes more sense, as the superhuman senses, speed and reflexes would've been unlocked at his pinnacle, rather than midway through his progression. The damage you can do with this build is laughably insane: If doing raw damage, you can use a Ki Point (of which you have ten) on one attack with your Kensei Weapon to increase it by 1d6 per turn. Sneak Attack adds another 2d6 per Turn. Using the shortsword, that's 5d6+6 (~20 average damage per Turn) damage using just the attack Action, Kensei Weapon and a Ki Point. Then, Action Surge to repeat this entire process without the Sneak Attack and Kensei bonus, for a total of 7d6+12 (~30 average damage on your Turn). Now, use 1 singular Ki Point for two strikes using Flurry of Blows on your Bonus Action, adding another 2d6+6 for a total of 9d6+18, netting ~45 average damage per Turn. Again, THAT'S THE AVERAGE. Without Action Surge, which you only get one of per Short Rest, that's still 7d6+12 damage per turn before you run out of Ki, which would then bring you to 4d6+6 (~15 average damage per Turn, not good but still acceptable for 15th lvl in a party of 4). Of course, all of this is while you're blitzing around the battlefield at double the speed of everyone else, with a whopping +8 to hit on each attack (of which you'll have 6 maximum, arguably the main strength of the build), casually just telling your DM "no" to Charmed, Frightened, Blinded, DEX saves, disease, poison, and just attacking you at all in the first place. Your AC isn't great and can't really be fixed, but you have plenty abilities that allow you to give your attacker Disadvantage and/or run out of their range while avoiding Opportunity Attacks like the gremlin you are. If you choose to play like Toji, favoring doing over avoiding damage, you'll definitely struggle with battles of attrition and damage-soaking, but you have high INT and WIS for a reason. TL;DR: you get to be Toji but more resistant and arguably just as fast. Also Swashbuckler OP when using Martial Multiclassing.
@@HeartLockHex I was going for a "Toji in Shibuya" kinda feel to it. The Swashbuckler is said to embody confidence and creativity in combat, and Toji embodied that pretty well by catching Dagon's sure-hit effect with his mouth and turning rubble into bullets against Megumi's rabbits. Even when he was acting purely on instinct, he used intelligent and creative tactics against his opponents, and all with superhuman speed, laughably overwhelming skill, near pre-cognizant reflexes, and confidence that didn't waver for even a single second. That's what I tried to embody in this build. I also tried to blend Maki's progression into it, as I imagined it to be at least fairly similar to Toji's. It would start off with just a bit more athleticism than average, and then spiral into more and more superhuman feats until you finally get the "epiphany" achieved through lvls 11-15. Monks embody superhuman combat, precise enough to cause status effects with their blows and fast enough to hit you twice in a Bonus Action. I will agree that Toji definitely doesn't favor unarmed strikes, but I'd also argue that Toji isn't a brilliant tactician that relies on being first in combat either. I mean, he certainly blitzes people and employs solid tactics in and out of battle, but not in the sense that it's intentional or especially extraordinary, he just does that by default because of his character and build. Neither embodies him perfectly, but this one gives him a superhuman body and mind while still staying away from magic, just like Toji's Heavenly Restriction. btw I like your build a lot too, I had to use it as a reference multiple times while making mine.
@@RandomInternetStranger Oh I more meant thematically then anything else! Mechanically there's many many options for a physical powerhouse. As I said in the video I just avoided monk since it just didn't feel *quite* right is all! The build you made is fantastic.
Mind letting me know how this has gone if you've given the build a shot? Was curious about how to make this work in BG3 as well, would be fun as part of a 4-man that has a few anime watchers in it :).
This is the kind of character that would be great to play with gestalt rules and rolled stats (definitely not cheated 😉) you could have a rogue barbarian to get that high hp and brutal criticals along with the assassin subclass so that you could tank and damage deal while being mobile and having those high skills rolls WITH some having a minimum roll so long as you have proficiency.
Gestalt alone would be a huge improvement considering you could just go outright Rogue/Fighter and really maximize all of what this build does, and then improve it even further. Rolled stats are a great secondary option though, since many GM's are hesitant to handle gestalt rules (understandably).
If your dm allows it, you can probably get a bag of holding and ask about flavoring it into a giant purple worm that can eat the items to keep hold of them
One character I think could be good is Vash the Stampede, with his deep and conflicted character, and vow of pacifism, despite using a weapon that in dnd, cannot do non-lethal damage, would be fun to see
I'd lower a bit the wisdom(gambling and overconfidence) and the charisma stats. Also, since Toji is a good strategist due to his battle experience, intuition, and quick thinking, but isn't book smart at all, I'd lower the intelligence the most.

Hey I’m gonna try to use this for Baldurs gate 3 on my second play through, I know some of the things were about talking to your party or DM but I hope I can still work around it into a game, hope you make builds spefivally for Baldurs gate 3!!
I don't see why not, there's probably room there for work. I'll add him to the list! In the meantime if you're looking for a summoner, maybe take a look at my Megumi build!
I mean he's obv insanely cool but generally he's not the most polite or actively charismatic/manipulative. I think the 10 strength is more egregious here lol
Definitley, highly recommend talking to your GM about some alternative options lol. If we could go all the way with stats every anime character would be a 20 in everything. But Toji'd have a 21 charisma for fun.
In a certain way I love this build for Toji, but it's clear that it's only centered on the Toji that fought Gojo, when Toji was out of retirement and had to craft a way to move Past Gojo's Infinity, but honestly, it doesn't fit that much against the rest of what Toji can really do. Like Toji vs Dagon or Toji vs Megumi, even counting stuff (spoilers) Maki can do in the manga, since they are equal in power at that point. Toji should feel like a Physical Beast, overwhelming and efficient. I agree with your statements about Monks. Ironically dropping Str is the best way to make this Character feel Physically Strong. Totem Barbarian is neat, but too "magicky" or Spiritual and Rage takes the "efficiency" out of the equation. I think, still following with your build here, maybe: Open Hand Monk (6) Champion Fighter / Battle Master Fighter (11) Assassin Rogue (3) If we focus on Level 15 as a capstone, we can dismiss the Rogue Levels and the Extra Extra Attack from Fighter. I think it's important that even tho this character does not use magic, it has to still Punch "Magically". However, Magic Weapons Exist, so, maybe Dropping 3 Levels of Monk and Starting as a Rogue to get the Skills makes sense. This build allows you to use Weapons and Fists (Unarmed Fighting Style for a D8), Extra Movement Speed, Slow Fall, Maneuvers + Open Hand Techniques can combine in fun ways to destabilize an opponent. I also added the possibility of Champion Fighter because Toji would be one of the few f***ING characters to take advantage of Peerless Athlete and Crit Fishing is in his style, as a gambler and allowing for occasional Bursts of Damage.
Wanted to avoid using Monk in any way like I said, but it's a totally viable (and arguable more effecient) option. But if someone wanted to go for an overwhelming physical character, they'd probably, frankly, just need to roll stats. 5e doesn't play very nice with anime, just is what it is. Many ways to build the characters though! Thanks for the comment!
I try not to return to character's I've already done usually, otherwise I'd never get anywhere in new videos, apologies! I'd say use my old Kenpachi video just change the race to fallen Aasimar for the transformation instead.
Hello! I loved the content, I saw that you didn't upload more videos of these card creations, a shame since they were incredible. Do you accept commission on pedestrian or orders? because I would love for you to make the yuta okkotsu sheet from jujutsu kaisen❤
I work retail so the holidays are buuuusy for me sadly, I do have a video in the works though. But yes Patrons of a certain tier get to request a specific build monthly if you're interested in that!
Hexblade is in enough builds in my opinion, and definitely didn't feel like it'd fit the vibe for Toji. Plenty of other anime builds that use Hexblade after all!
Probably just straight Monk. Probably Kobalt Soul to emphasize his mind and strategies. Monk doesn't play very nice with Multicasting. Maybe a 2-level rogue dip for the addition skills and a little sneak attack spice.
Could you explain what the ambush and tactical assessment moves are? I got an old DnD Player's handbook but it doesn't say those maneuvers except menacing attack. Recently got into DnD it would be very helpful if you could explain it for me 😭🙏
Definitely why I built him the way I did! Though I wish I could've played into fighter a bit more but, 5e is limited when it comes to anime adaptations lol
Big fan of 40k but considering the way the emperor is portrayed throughout the lore don't think that'd work very well. I could look into the primarchs though!
That'd be entirely up to you and your GM! Firearms aren't something anyone is proficient with unless the GM says so basically. Aside artificer, or Gunslinger fighter, both of which you'd want to talk to your GM with first anyway.
They'll be locked behind their books on dnd beyond, I'd recommend using the search function. Should bring it up and tell you what you'll need to own for access to it!
Hm, that's pretty broad. I could see about adding some general DBZ to the list and see how people feel about them though! Generally they're harder to do since they want to punch things but also cast "spells" lol.
@@HeartLockHex And what if it's Goku Black or Fusion Zamasu, where both characters can use sword beams from their hands can teleport and fly Are these skills available in DND? P.S. Personally, I've never played dnd. Just interested and want information from someone with experience

Thanks for the support, I'm getting back into the swing of it now that my health issues have calmed down a bit (thankfully).
Awesome video
Thank you very much! Might of forgotten about the thumbnail though lol
@@HeartLockHexI hope your channel grows
@@westernjustice3824 I appreciate it, hopeful it will as well!
And then your DM has all monsters be immune to non magical attacks. So unless you have a magic weapon, you are FUCKED.
Get a better DM, or talk to your DM about why that doesn't work. 😂
@@HeartLockHex I've considered leaving a few times, but a friend is stuck in the game because of me. I'll only leave if he does.
@@Ubermensch9240 Have you talked to the DM at all in regards to the concern? Even a baseline magical weapon that gives light would be viable.
@@HeartLockHex They gave me an almost useless magic sword that can cast Spike Growth (pretty useful) and Wither and Bloom..... a Con save spell.... in a campaign with DEMONS.
@@HeartLockHex Aaaaaaaaaaaand I finally left the Campaign. Turns out one of the players was a Conspiracy nutbag and I'm allergic to crazy.
Ah nice one! Haha one of my viewers mistaked me for you :D I love Toji uwu he is so darn cool!
Excited to see what you do here :3
Apologies for the mixup! I'm glad you enjoyed, thank you!
@@HeartLockHex oh nothing to apologise at all! Haha just thought it was funny :3 felt like I had to check your stuff out as I was also doing some JJK/D&D fusion stuff :3
@@TheUglyGoblin I'll have to check out some of your stuff as well! I've seen it in my recommendations a few times but sadly most of what I use UA-cam for lately is music while I work lol
@@HeartLockHex oh no way! Haha aw that's nice to hear though that I'm being recommended :o
An even easier way is to use the new path of the world tree barb, to make his flash step / great speed
Jjk is great and I thought how would Inumaki work. Ik this is very late but I just found this in my recommended
I'll add him to the list! Sounds like he'd be a blast honestly!
@@HeartLockHex oh hi there I was binging one piece so I didn’t see this earlier
@@ChozzOk Good luck on your binge! Quite a bit to go over.
idk why I thought of him as a monk
Honestly Kensei Monk with a splash of rogue assassin does what this build does better in some ways. But it felt wrong for Toji imo.
as a wise man once said "toji fushiguro"
He's a fan favorite for a reason!
6:20 that reference was too smooth
Hah thank you! Hope you enjoyed!
I think monk is still true to Toji. Monks don’t have magic (mostly). They have ki. Toji doesn’t have cursed energy. He has a heavenly pact.
Then go for it! Never one way to build a character, like I said! Kensei Monk and Rogue would be solid options.
@@HeartLockHex Gun monk is def something I’ve wanted to build but it just never seems worth it. At least lowish level. :/
@@adamkwarren21 Gun's in D&D is always wonky honestly. I feel your pain lol
Hey I’m gonna try to use this for Baldurs gate 3 on my second play through, I know some of the things were about talking to your party or DM but I hope I can still work around it into a game, hope you make builds spefivally for Baldurs gate 3!!
That'd be interesting certainly, there's no good way to build characters for bg3 just yet I don't believe. I'll look into it!
Would love to see Geto Suguru
Added to the request list!
Thank you so much! I like this series you've started a lot!
Toji Fushiguro, but he got Isekaid:
Toji trying to look at a stat window and understand nerd terminology would be hilarious. That is all.
Great video...please make one for Satoru Gojo!! 🙏
Thank you! He's on the to-do list based on Patreon votes!
Thanks.
Thank you!
I will sit here and wait for a gojo sorcerer build 🪑
Haha, it's almost done I sadly had computer issues shutting me down mid-way. But getting back to it now that the holidays are over!
lonen: he took muh jerb
(inside jokes ftw).
Someone's gotta do it right. 😂
Damn I wish it was possible to do a Geto build
I don't see why not, there's probably room there for work. I'll add him to the list! In the meantime if you're looking for a summoner, maybe take a look at my Megumi build!
Could you do a Geto Build?? That would be awesome 🤩
I'll add him to the list! Thank you!
I would love to see a uryu build from bleach
Could definitely be interesting with the new season coming out!
Yo this might take some work but id love to see you make a custom class/build for suguru geto from jjk
Geto's definitely on the list, he's definitely pretty complicated by comparison but should be doable! Thanks for the support!
I would have gone with champion instead of battle master since it gives you superhumen strength and increased crit chance.
I find champion boring and less impactful in mid-combat honestly, so I avoid it in most builds, but there's nothing stopping you from going with it!
Ok add just two levels of barbarian shboom auto advantage on attacks = always sneak attack bonus
8 charisma for toji is WIIIIIILD
I mean he's obv insanely cool but generally he's not the most polite or actively charismatic/manipulative. I think the 10 strength is more egregious here lol
Definitley, highly recommend talking to your GM about some alternative options lol. If we could go all the way with stats every anime character would be a 20 in everything. But Toji'd have a 21 charisma for fun.
Yeah I woulda went swashbuckler rogue and fighter combo
Never any one way to build a character after all! Could see that working!
Really liked ths vid. Was wondering if you took requests and if so coud you do Jin Mori from GOH?
I can certainly add him to the list! I take requests from the comments, and then let my members and patreon's vote on them!
Toji Fushiguro
He brought back the milk.
I think, still following with your build here, maybe:
Open Hand Monk (6)
Champion Fighter / Battle Master Fighter (11)
Assassin Rogue (3)
If we focus on Level 15 as a capstone, we can dismiss the Rogue Levels and the Extra Extra Attack from Fighter.
@@HeartLockHex Thank you for the kind response! Just leaving my opinion here, respectfully?
Btw, why not Monk?
I wanna see Acnologia from fairy tale
Would probably be good for a monster stat block, let's see what I can put together!
Can you do TYBW Zaraki Kenpachi when he has his shikai and bankai?
I try not to return to character's I've already done usually, otherwise I'd never get anywhere in new videos, apologies! I'd say use my old Kenpachi video just change the race to fallen Aasimar for the transformation instead.
Do a Sung Jin-Woo build
He's on the list! A bit challenging, but I'm getting there.
But yes Patrons of a certain tier get to request a specific build monthly if you're interested in that!
i do this in morrowind alllll the time
Making video game builds is something I've been tempted to do a few times, especially for Baldurs Gate, Skyrim or Oblivion honestly!
Do geto next if you can (I'm interested in how you can make him)
He's after Yamamoto! And then we'll let some member votes decide the next course of action lol
If possible Gojo? that would be amazing
He's actually the script I just finished so he'll be the next video! Had a lot of fun designing him in a (desperate) attempt to make him work.
what if you make a hexblade warlock and the patron is the thing were you get the weapons
Hexblade is in enough builds in my opinion, and definitely didn't feel like it'd fit the vibe for Toji. Plenty of other anime builds that use Hexblade after all!
he has max charisma in the anime tho
Goes over the cap easily.
I wanna see Yuta
He'd pretty high on the list!
What would the monk route have looked like?
Probably just straight Monk. Probably Kobalt Soul to emphasize his mind and strategies. Monk doesn't play very nice with Multicasting. Maybe a 2-level rogue dip for the addition skills and a little sneak attack spice.
Now, how do I punch things to death in this build?
Use my Yuji build. Or any monk build, really lol
DO GETO NEXT PLEASE
He's on the patron list for people to vote! Thanks for the input!
Mahoraga
Would be tricky for a character but maybe I could put together a stat block for a spell to summon.
…
…
…
Toji Fushigiro
…
…
…
The man. The myth. The legend.
The child support evasion.
Could you explain what the ambush and tactical assessment moves are? I got an old DnD Player's handbook but it doesn't say those maneuvers except menacing attack. Recently got into DnD it would be very helpful if you could explain it for me 😭🙏
Ambush adds to stealth or initiative check, and tactical assessment adds to history, insight or investigation!
Please do Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Genya Shinazugawa for demon slayer
I'll add both to the lists for patrons to vote on, thanks!
Toji is clearly a fighter, curbstomps everyone most of the time, but gets disintegrated when the spellcasters start leveling up
Which is what actually happened story-wise too. It’s perfect! Now to just die looking like the Apple logo against a spellcaster.
Definitely why I built him the way I did! Though I wish I could've played into fighter a bit more but, 5e is limited when it comes to anime adaptations lol
Hopefully not mid-session! ;)
Do the emporer next (warhammer 40k)
Big fan of 40k but considering the way the emperor is portrayed throughout the lore don't think that'd work very well. I could look into the primarchs though!
Yeah, didn't think of that. Could you do konrad then? (He's my favorite 🙃)
@@Gabriel_Santar Can easily add him to the list first, see where the votes land!
@@HeartLockHex sure!
what kind of weapons should I be using with this? any recommendations?
Honestly anything works, shortsword, dagger, reflavored rapier as a katana.
@HeartLock Is the ranger class cannon for Toji since he uses rifles and pistols too? Or would fighter handle most of that too?
That'd be entirely up to you and your GM! Firearms aren't something anyone is proficient with unless the GM says so basically. Aside artificer, or Gunslinger fighter, both of which you'd want to talk to your GM with first anyway.
Geto, do suguru Geto
I'll add him to the list, thanks!
I know that the yuji build added him but what about making a sole sukuna build?
Hm. I could give it a shot though that may be better as a creature stat block instead, which could be a fun side series.
if you where 5to accurate, he'd have 20's in everything
Yup, and a 21 Charisma for the amount of fans that simp for him lol.
How do i get mage slayer and forgery kit? building a sheet on dnd beyond
They'll be locked behind their books on dnd beyond, I'd recommend using the search function. Should bring it up and tell you what you'll need to own for access to it!
Ah ok
@@Leafilio That should work for pretty much anything aside homebrew as well.
Can you create izan from bleach I would love that build
Oh that's a new one, I'll add him to the list and we'll see where the votes land!
Bro do you DM? Nice video!
I do yes, I run a weekly game for my higher tier patrons that became some close friends in my personal world!
Can you make the future trunks characters from dragon ball into dnd?
Hm, that's pretty broad. I could see about adding some general DBZ to the list and see how people feel about them though! Generally they're harder to do since they want to punch things but also cast "spells" lol.
@@HeartLockHex And what if it's Goku Black or Fusion Zamasu, where both characters can use sword beams from their hands can teleport and fly Are these skills available in DND?
P.S. Personally, I've never played dnd. Just interested and want information from someone with experience
@@ภูริภูมิมี They're all doable. Just most of the builds are all the same, effectively the strength of 5e is the ability to roleplay the mechanics you choose however you'd like.
@@HeartLockHex Thank you👍
@@ภูริภูมิมี Of course!
Excuses me but I’m just asking but what items can present the soul split katana, playful cloud
hey man, do you know about the baldur’s gate 3 game and do you intend to play it? I think it’ll be awesome if you make build videos for that game and it’ll also attract views because the game is about to be released soon.
I've considered it! Unfortunately can't really afford the game just yet so I'll probably miss that hype train. Is what it is though!
Please do Choso
I'll add him to the list! Sounds like a fun option for my homebrew blood wizard.
