This is so fckn cool. Behind the scenes footage of Dana and the UFC on their way to the top of the fight game. 19:42 … just WOW. Dana went from being excited that an ESPN desk showed up to one of their events, to years later partnering with them to show all their fights. I just went to my first ever live event at 291 in Salt Lake and was absolutely blown away. Validated everything I’d ever heard Dana say about the sport, the experience of seeing it live, and then some. Was truly an honor to finally support the promotion in person and see what all these years of blood, sweat, and tears created. I will always support the UFC.
Very well said. That bit of footage with Bruce Buffer talking about doing the spin and then doing it live was so rad. I’ve never seen that before, a lot of these clips are new to me
Its still amazing today. Your always gunna have certain years in the UFC that are better then other years but the UFC has gotten nothing but, better year after year. The UFC is amazing and takes alot to produce this show for everyone to see. I dontknow howyou could think its worse by anymeans. The UFC has done nothing but grown and become better over the years.
@joshuadill7849 yeah but like O.P. said, the Wild West days were awesome....its so mainstream now but this shows the grind and humble beginnings. Yes Dana had the Rich Fertittas behind him but hes just a real jeans and tshirt dude that spent countless sleepless nights putting together some of our fave moments in MMA ever....okay swear im not fanboying but Dana is a real one for sure... BUT pay the fighters Dana.....were coming for the F*c$ing money, Ken!!
It's still great but I do kno what you mean about the hay day. And there was a lot more blood. But that's because people are trained and honed in by the time they get there now
The way he took the UFC from being worth 2 million to being worth 4 billion is nothing short of brilliant. The dude is fucking legit. I pray he stays safe, we need him around. I don't think anyone can execute such good fights as well as he does. He's the fuckin man.
Dana is not replaceable. I tell my dad who is now 54, that the UFC is my generation’s(I’m 21) version of boxing in the 80’s. Massive shows, massive stars, and epic fights. Dana and his boys brought it all together. Can’t say enough about him really.
I love this video, seeing all the behind the scenes and reactions to some of the most legendary moments in ufc history with the late 2000s, early 2010s camera look and audio and seeing Rogan and Bruce there in the earlier days, this is really a blast to the past
@@rrauly1166nah Vince McMahon will be the test subject but they will load him into A.I. and he will make fights and shit on refs and reporters til the end of time 😂😂
Incredible !! Good stuff. People may be shtting on Dana White today but he'll be missed whenever he decides to walk away from the Fight Business ; no other guy will ever truly replace Dana
I really hope they add the OG commentator Mike to the Hall of Fame because his voice went hand and hand with the UFC. I remember watching his last time calling a fight card and thinking about how the UFC won't be the same. I will say it's much better now but for the time him and Joe led the way from the beginning and i would have like to see him get a proper send off no matter of what drama happened behind the scenes.
I've always really liked Dana. I mean he goes back on his word and is a hypocrite but I mean every manager I've ever had is like that. But he seems like a fun dude and has personality. They need to bring back the show Looking for a Fight.
Whoever grew up on UFC will find those moments priceless
I know that Dana isn't perfect but what a guy to run UFC
Thanks Dana ❤
He is perfect. All his imperfections make him the perfect man for the UFC.
2003 and still watching. Changed my life
I’m convinced Dana white is the greatest fight promoter of all time
Nah
Edit: well maybe in North America sure

Dana isn't the match maker.
@@peaceonmars i am pretty sure he has a lot to say

I love how Steven Segal told Dana, "That's exactly what I told him to do" when Machida ko'd Randy Couture.
