This is a masterpiece... How is this a "demo" version? This is beyond incredible... The way the left and right alternate.. There's so much too "hear" while listening.. Wow
"She gives a smile, but it does not reach her eyes" "worried that she's gonna kill herself, but she just went to the bathroom" best lines in the song. The raw emotion on display is why I've loved this track for years. This demo is killer though, I wish I heard this version sooner.

Infelizmente, os álbuns lançados não são tão bons quanto essa música aqui - eu acredito que eles tenham deixado muitas músicas pra trás, com a questão das gravadoras da época.

@@sgmeta im pretty sure the different key stuff is because people were playing the ep at different speeds in different uploads of recordings of the songs vinyl
@@frankthetoaster That makes sense, and since this one is faster, it could mean that the vinyl was played a little slower, but the other videos are consistent with the speed, so probably it was slowed down in the final cut. Sadly, I haven't found an original digital release, so I'm not sure about that theory :(
@@sgmeta the song was only ever released on vinyl, if anything the original tape masters are probably long gone with no way to find them unfortunately, especially since far apart is and was quite obscure when they made this song. all digital copies of the song i've seen from soulseek or otherwise are just rips of the vinyl, so while unverifiable i ultimately think the answer is different playback speeds

This is the greatest rock song I've heard in maybe ever. It's pretty perfect. I imagine this is exactly how they wrote it before the produced version came out. The demo is faster and way more fun. Such a gem!
