Frankie Laine and Guy Mitchell have always been my favorite singers, but the Four Lads sang my favorite song. Like Frankie and Guy, they gave me great "Moments To Remember."
Yes, Francis, on this date, 1/6/2019, (and at almost 82) I too still miss them. Jimmy, Frankie, Bernie and Connie... Those were much happier days then what is going on today. Ron Wolf Ft. Myers
I remember seeing them at the Casino theatre in Toronto and waiting for them back stage many, many years ago. Three Toronto St. Michael's Choir Boys with great talent. Many years later Jimmy Arnold, the tenor, came to our home with a realtor looking for a new home, he didn't buy ours but had a great talk with him a really nice man. Connie Codarini was my favorite but they were all marvelous. I miss that type of music but at least I have the memories.
Thank you markalson1938, that was a great video clip. I have been a great fan of Frankie Lane all my life, I do remember when he had his own show. I seen him when he appeared on TV for the last time singing Thats My Desire and at 91 he still sounded great.
This was from Frankie's 1956 summer replacement series for "ARTHUR GODFREY AND HIS FRIENDS" [Wednesdays, 8-9pm(et), CBS]- the announcer doing the Pillsbury "Kit Cake" Mix spot is Godfrey's announcer, deep-voiced Tony Marvin...

Always loved the tenor's voice - so clear and a pleasure to listen to.

@luma2822 Memories are for most people the most valuable thing they have.
do they still have kit cake? Anyways, the four lads are awesome singers and PERFECT harmonisers.
I second that. I totally miss this kind of music. The day I hear Justin Bieber try this, someone get me a straitjacket, LOLOLOLOLOL.
Yes, I think The Four Ladds were the best group of the fifties. Team them up with the best singer of that or any period, well how could you go wrong?
where have they all gone?
Hey, I still have one of those Kit Cakes in the pantry
Why not dust it off and pop it in the oven?
They really should bring back duwop, I know my spellings bad
