No actually PSUs have some special rights then those of Private Sector banks ...Private Sector Banks have to regularly follow all the norms of RBI whereas this PSUs have some special rights thats why these types of cases are famous in PSUs ....u will rarely get the Fraud cases from Private Sector banks

This is crazy. Swift audit should be done every 3 months. Surprising the bank as well as auditors had not done Nostro reconciliation. This is a much deeper scam than it looks like.
Madhusudan Prabhu Audits must have been done. But they must have been overlooked and neglected intentionally, by corrupt official.
Only some low level employees and a small scapegoat will be arrested and all big name will evade from this scam

I have got one question. If this was going on from 2011, and pnb bank went on to pay the amount further to Allahabad bank and others, why didn’t they bother to collect it from Nirav Modi for such a long time ? Did they just forgot about it ?

True, my mom was struggling with her life and she was an army officer, she approached HDFC bank for the personal loan but bank couldn’t offer coz of long and unnecessary detailed documentation.
They couldn’t even give 1 lac loan to a normal family who serves to central govt.
how come such scammers really make it big.

Interviews are just waste of time. What the bloody hell are you gonna assess about a person in just a few minutes,other than their English speaking skills and overall body language? Lots of videos are there which 'teaches' a candidate what all could be said and what all shouldn't be said in a n interview. Interview is an outdated method.
Afterall people do change a lot in a course of time.
If anything,then replace interview with internship and raise the cut off marks really high alongwith strictly following KYE.
Moral principles amd integrity are more crucial to a banker than "impressive bodylanguage" and all

Highly informative video on Neerav Modi explaining buyer's credit from foreign banks and LOC. You say, the scam is loss to tax payers money. I feel, it loss to all depositors who may or may not be tax payers. The PSU banks are in shambles. The day is not far one one of the PSU bank would go bust and then all PSU banks would fall down like a house of cards one after the other.I do not understand why banks officials are not put behind he bars for a long long tome for doing such criminal acts. You should also stress on this point. Thanks
