These New Audio Features Blew My Mind!

- In this video you'll see two stunning audio features in the latest version of DaVinci Resolve Studio (version 19) that are not currently available in Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Audition.

The first feature is the "Dialog Separator" which allows you to mute, rebalance, or isolate different elements like voice, background noise, ambiance etc. from an audio clip.
The second feature is the "Music Remix" tool which lets you isolate and independently adjust different stems or elements (like vocals, drums, bass, etc.) within a music track. This gives you more control over an audio mix allowing you to remove vocals, isolate vocals or change the instumental mix entirely.
To be absolutely fair Davinci Resolve also added two features that Adobe products had for ages. These are "Transcription Speaker Labels" and "Audio Ducking".

Wow! I would like a stem splitter and vocal remover in Adobe, please? Audacity can do it, DaVinci Resolve can do it. Please?! 🙏
I believe Bandlab has a stem splitter in the mobile app. They have some pretty cool AI features, like their new AI voice cleaner and voice to MIDI. EDIT: I have a premium subscription so I don't know if those features are available in the free version.

Davinci have audio sidechaining already they just made it easier with the ducker

Absolutely! You can add bits to your music using Adobe Audition's editing tools, like the Cut, Copy and Paste along with the remix tool.
Where is the audio remix like in the premiere? ...I'm still at the premiere. The new functions in davinci are of no use to me.
Yes, Music Remix is deceiving for Premiere users as we think of the feature to extend or decrease track length by remixing. I wonder if DaVinci could add that possibility in the future?

None. They are paid Studio features I believe. It’s a one time payment.
With Dialogue Separator switched on on track level I hear various clips in the timeline! Bug?
It seems like the Dialogue Separator feature is working as intended. It works well for me.
@@MikeRussell Yes, I had to restart Resolve for these "overlapping clip sounds" to vanish.🤔
Why don’t I see theses audio options in the inspection, I just installed studio 19 beta?

I just switched to the davinci resolve 19 beta and I don't see the Music Remixer tool?? and i don't see the new features?
Hey there! The Music Remixer tool along with the new features in Davinci Resolve 19 are located in the track level effects. Instead of selecting a clip you need to select the whole audio track.

--> If you don't find the 'MUSIC REMIXER' section, select far left the whole audio track (A1/A2 ...) and not only the track in the timeline. These features blew my mind too! Cheers...

Hmm, that's strange. How come I don't see that feature on my computer? All I see are voice isolation and dialogue leveler. NO dialogue separator. I'm using the studio version too. What am I doing wrong??

@@guguemichaelsI was not able to get it first. Then I did what Mike suggested, clicked on the entire audio track (i.e. A1 from the left), and it worked. Hope it helps!
