This is a remix of Klaus Doldinger's epic and iconic flying music from the soundtrack of the 1985 film adaptation of the classic fantasy novel "The Never Ending Story". This song has been one of my favorite pieces of film music, since I first saw this film as a little kid, when it debuted in the states.
For this remix I layered several midi arrangements over the original piece from the official soundtrack. Adding original synths, strings, choir, bells, drums, and other sounds and textures. Then I re-arranged the track to give it an extended mix, from the rather short origina piece.
This song brings back so many memories. “TheNothing” is quite a scary force when you watch this as an adult and realize what it’s portraying ❤
Might be my religious upbringing, but I got it right away. As soon as he explained the Nothing gets stronger when humans lie...
The amount of love this song gets is amazing 🤙🏻🤙🏻
When people ask me "what song "defines" the 80's to you?" I usually think of this one first.
@@thebarbaryghostsf I have done. Few versions myself on my Stubz1989 account, love it
When i watched this as a very lil kid when it first came out I couldn't figure out why the old man was saying he was "Atreyu the child". Now watching it as an adult, Atreyu is a lil kid! 😂
La edición tanto de audio como de video de 10 . Como olvidar al dragón con cara de perrito 🥲
Hell yeah!!
Nice
That cutscene before the final fight in Zelda 21. Come on, we all heard this playing in our heads, right?
I still need to get myself a Switch, but it's in my plans. I do love however that Nobuo Uematsu has gone on record stating that this song influenced most of the Airship themes in the Final Fantasy games he worked on,. You can really hear it in The Highwind Takes Flight from FF7,
@baryghostsf That's exactly what it reminded me of. When the Highwind takes to the skies.
you worked for super monkeyball? yoo
lol yeah I worked at SEGA for awhile.
2001-2002, 2004 and again in 2006.
literally my all time favorite game, thank you for creating childhood memories for me@@thebarbaryghostsf
