It's funny you mentioned lifting with tape. I only get lifting when I use silly putty. The edges tend to lift off the secondary color so I use silly putty as little as possible and only when I can take it off right after spraying. You can find Christmas ribbon and/or tule with the pattern you're looking for to use a stencil for the honeycomb pattern.
Nice work. I know this is late, but I see you're still active. Dude. Just go get some Duplicolor 1k gloss. Give your acrylic at least overnight to dry then hit it with the 1K gloss. Wait 24 hours and then you'll never have tape tear off paint. As a bonus you can then do oil pinwashes with enamel thinner to do all those black lines in no time flat instead of sitting there for hours tracing the lines on the suit.
Also, I've seen Gunpla creators use a lacquer or enamel for panel lining because you can use that paint's specific thinner to remove spill over or mistakes. Apparently a lacquer thinner won't harm dry acrylic, or visa versa. I've never attempted it myself.
Never tried the liner stuff but I can look into it, as for Lquid masking I tried it a few time back in the day and it killed my paint ups. So I just love silly putty for masking, works wonders, and can be reused over and over and over etc.
I don't get them people who are in facebook groups get in on pre orders of them and like months or a year later they are sent out to people who paid. then people contact me to paint their kit.
As of now im using Canon Vixia HF G50 UHD 4K Camcorder , works great for streaming and filming statues, I just need to learn more about the color correction while filming since it always yellow tint. Plus I use Imovoe which is a basic editing program so I can fix things as well. Just dont have the time to edit.
@@VinceVellCUSTOMS haha well ive learned a lot of tricks and tips already from you. Greatly appreciated Vince. Hope to meet you someday! Continue the awesome work

I need this stl!!!
He looks just like Alex Ross's Spider-Man!😀
Looks awesome, I'm conflicted as i think he pops so much with a black base.
Ya he does but prob will change down the line when venom comes in, but may try and keep it a dark base.
Brilliant, brilliant work and fantastic attention to detail as usual. That's real passion
Have you had any luck with Liquid masking film?

Very nice 👍
Which blue did you use for the first blue layer? Nice Look of the blue
Citadel Caledor Sky Blue is the base if I remember correctly
Blessed with talent, beautifully done. Just curious where do you get the kits from?

Bro where can I grab this kit???!!!
Far as I know its way sold out and only way is to find someone on one of the statue facebook groups and see if they are selling theirs off.
Peter looking a bit too jacked for my taste. Especially in the uper back area. The paint though is tight! Great job hommie 😉
showw de mais.
Man, where tf do they find these kits
Facebook groups. people set up groups and do small runs on these items and seems they sell out even before a sculpt is shown.
I'm a little embarrassed I couldn't tell what you were using to mask. Now that you said it, it's pretty obvious that it's just putty.
