@John Benjamin Tatum That is originally the mantra of the Blacksmith "If you need a tool, make a tool." It's why a Blacksmith isn't truly a Master if they don't cross-dicipline enough to at least make the handles for his tools and products like knives and hammers. Nowadays it is the mantra of the Maker. Any Maker.
@John Benjamin Tatum Ha, I'm learning that mantra right now, I'm making a wooden marking/cutting gauge. Good starting point for an absolute woodworking beginner, eh? XD
Your attention to detail is incredible. From the wedges in the hammers to actually using and hardening good tool steel for something that's clearly never really going to be used. It's truly amazing!!
Uri I am always excited to see a new listing from you because you never let me down. Another master piece. Thank you for another great video. I cant wait to see what is next.

I LOVE your attention to detail, even in the tools you made for this project. I can tell you take great pride in your work and it is phenomenal! Keep up the amazing work.
Only Uri can make a video about making something by making something to make something to make the thing... Btw, the tiny spokeshave is really awesome!
You, my friend, are insane. Don't ever stop making videos, I laughed so hard I nearly chocked on my scotch. The draw knife was an unexpected twist so why was I surprised you made a wood mallet to drive the handle in place Keep the videos coming, they are the best on You Tube!
Can I take a second to appreciate the fact he doesn’t have the tools necessary to make the handle but makes a tiny drawing knife and mallet to make the handle... astounding.
Every video you post I just become more and more amazed at how beautiful your work is!! Also I tried the preserved lemons and had them with some pasta with a lemon aioli with basil and it was amazing!!!
Uri, you're a true artist. The oldest profession is tool-making, not the one everyone thinks of. Gave you a thumbs-up before I even watched the video because, well, it's ... you. Looking forward to the rest of this series. Have a happy new year and work safe.
I always love your videos, and they all make me happy, but this had extra elements to make me happy. I so thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing it with us!!!
Thanks so much, I wish I could give you more thumbs up. You deserve one for each tool you made to make the hammer. Again I had a huge smile after watching your video. Thanks again.
When I saw you make that tiny drawknife to shape the handle, I immediately subscribed. Bravo, Uri! I saw the automaton URI video first, then this one. Now I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos!
That made me smile! What the hell kind of handle is that for a miniature hamme... Oh, it's the miniature tool, for making miniature handles. Funny, and clever man!

I love what you do in making these very small tools and am fascinated with your ingenious items you come with. Hope you have a wonderful New Year in 2020 along with joy, happiness, peace, love , friends and more videos to enchant us with.
As a maker myself I can recognise when I wouldn't stand a chance of making something that's way beyond my skill set but in the same sense I can also recognise when someone does have the skill set, you Sir should be making a orrery, you have the fine metalwork skills and engraving skills. A fine handmade orrery would fetch £1000's and make a fantastic set of youtube videos
Uri after watching your overly complicated mechanical pencil, the idea of an automated brass banana popped into my head. I thought I'd pass it on to you.
Perfect start into 2020 with your video. Entertaining and inspiring. I have to find that miniature wooden mallet, i have lying around somewhere and send it to you. At least you will put it to good use.
Can’t believe you made a perfect makers mark on that tiny hammer head. Unreal.
Thanks, and I don't mean to be extra humble or anything but even though I like the mark, I feel it's a bit messy still, maybe I haven't shown it close enough in the video.
Yeah, the makers mark looks really great. And he did it by hand, that's even more amazing.
