I would be saying that it makes sense why they look like the way they do with the game in question, so it is probably to avoid making it look like a comedic addition (but that is just how I view it). Although, I _would_ nitpick about how the posters at the YanSim stage didn't at least get that same treatment, but it is really not that big of a deal. MY issue is that an actual remix is not the full theme-it is a LOOP.
the OG yan sim's were supposed to look like anime, this is dark deception. Their arts and everything are mainly going towards on realistic. That's why it scares people. You can't really compare on a game that's meant to look unrealistic VS a game that's made to be realistic

On one hand; yeah both the far left and far right are getting worse and worse; AI art, writing, and voice acting is a problem, etc etc. But on the plus side, anime is not being seen as The Devil’s taint like it unfortunately has been seen like that in the late 2010s; 2.5-D Animation is evolving in animated films more often, and we’re moving on from superhero/comic book movie/tv show adaptations to good video game movie/tv show adaptations, etc.
It’s cause Yandere Dev is a lazy prick who gives empty promises. He’s been working on the game for how long? Too many years and it’s still pretty much at the same state as it started basically. The game was too overhyped and became very underwhelming. That’s why I stopped paying attention to the game since like 2017 and why many of “gamers” stopped producing content relating to that huge procrastinated game.
Even if i like to see some yandere simulator videos i cant stop to think this is way out of place, the mere existence of hanako and info chan sharing memes is something i didn't know could happen in m&m, at least i gotta say sempai is a great character gameplay wise and hanako is interesting, the other 2 are a big meh which is funny since both are the main characters

M&M developers redo all the assets from scratch for their dlcs, they don't blatantly take the assets from the original game (unless they are already high-quality and do not need to be redone from scratch, like House of Ashes)
The game isn't even out yet so they literally just have to call them "Info chan" and "senpai" and give them the most generic ass uniforms that could be tied to any Japanese media 😭
Its possible that in the future there will be unique uniforms info chan is a nickname and her true name is unknow and senpai is a nickname too his name is taro yamada and in the gameplay you can see his real name
This is the closest we're ever gonna get to Yansim being completed
