Exactly what I needed 2 days before they debuted when I was trying to remove some one-way screws on a security door!! I destroyed my Knipex pivoting jaw vice-grip teeth immediately (inferior quality, dont buy). I then succeeded w/ a pair of Cobras after slipping off the head multiple times. These were exactly what I needed.
If I didn't already have 5 pairs of different Vampliers, I'd get these.
I'm kinda glad I waited on buying a set of vampliers now. Just got a set of these ordered.
Thanks for sharing!! You have to keep in mind, that these pliers are for gripping, not bending. There are plenty of pliers out there for bending crap. There's no reason to want a different model to be more like the classic slip joint pliers. These want to grip and that's what I want them to do. If nothing else, thanks for the the twingrip pliers in action.
Yeah, but it slip joint plier is something to have in a go bag. The ultimate would be Knipex in your go bag.. or box..
It would be nice if they came out with a set with a cutting tool for copper wire aswell

Knipex version of Nejisaurus. Everybody saying its a version or vampliers... yeah vampliers are just a rebrand with the price put up a bit.

Most slip joints don’t. But we’ve gotten spoiled from the snappy’s. You’d be surprised how many people don’t even know the snap ons offer that feature

I think if you wanted to do nice bending or straightening for metal you would be using the Knipex Pliers Wrench instead. The Twingrips are sweet though! I got mine from KCTools with a 10% off coupon :D

yeah right, I've been using these for 2 months now and I have 0 damage to the teeth, cant say that for either crescent or channellock after a few days.
