Today im taking a look at the upcoming Jordan 1 Next Chapter, which is a collaboration with Spiderman Across The Spider Verse. The Spiderman Jordan 1 is definitely a very polarising sneaker with a lot of different panels on it. Even though this is the second Jordan 1 Spiderman collaboration they are very different sneakers, if you're looking to grab a pair they drop May 20th.

That’s my only gripe with this shoe is that it didn’t come with any type of special box or extra laces. For $200, we could have atleast got a different color box or white laces, they lowkey fumbled the bag on that end but other then that, attention to detail is amazing ! Guarantee after watching the movie, the shoe will make more sense.
should have made like a shoe box that has alot their special old box styles on it, like tons of boxes in one,. some are oonly small window size, some are strips along the entire box. multiverse style

I think there is nothing wrong with th box. I feel its a touch over from the classic AJ1 and Nike's way of telling us that this is still an AJ1 Chicago but travelled across the Spiderverse. What is the most disappointing about the shoe is no extra laces. This is an AJ1 High, it should have an extra laces.

The pattern you are referring to is the Ben days process which was used to produced comic books. The movies have used the process as the inspiration for the movies.

In all honesty after 6 months, these shoes hold up and are 🔥🔥🔥 and sitting at a decent price tag. Glad they aren’t over 300$$ right now
these are sooo dope, an actual spiderverse collab and not just a one-off Chicago like the Origin Story's. I had to pay resale but will def try to cop on the SNKRS drop.

@@gzdaboss443 Obviously both are Chicago inspired. Origin's even though have better leather, you're comparing it to a shoe with like 9 different materials lol. I meant that the inspiration and design of the Origins are much lazier and boring compared to these. These are much more standout and speaks for itself while the Origins are so close to Chicago's that the Spider-man collab is barely there for me.

I landed these on the shock drop, and they admittedly look much better in person than on the marketing photos. Then they look even better on feet. Not my favorite but it's a classic.

The first AJ1 spider-man was made for the animated film "Into the Spider-verse", this pair coming out is that part two "across the spider-verse". So when you say these are almost identical to Chicagos... its because they are Chicagos lol. Its the sneaker Miles wore for the majority of the movie. Even his funko pop has chicagos on

I got W on that shoes for shock drop but when I received that shoes and see it in person I realized that jordan 1 high is not my thing.. So I decided to send it back. That kind of shoes is not for everybody..
These have grown on me, I’ll defo try cop but won’t get upset if I take an L. Still need to get the lost and founds on resale!
The only thing stopping me from getting these is that price tag on the L&F..

I took delivery of mine earlier today and was stunned to see no red laces. So i got a pair of red laces i bought earlier this month , and put them on instead of the black ones they came shipped with. Makes them look really good in my opinion. Wore them out for lunch and will be doing so for the next week or more... .i like these a lot.

Looks like a transvestite version of the Chicago 1. Can't believe they'd mess with a classic colorway this way ... especially how many people wanted actual Lost and Founds. Lots of people in their 20s and 30s living in their parents' basements who collect funko pop figures and watch animae who will be excited about this one, I'm sure. i will get them because i didn't get the chance to hit on the chicago's L&f and don't actually feel like paying resale i like the concept behind these it's really creative and it's like a second chance to get a chicago and the resale on these is not that high at the moment
I have both and gotta say I prefer these over the lnfs, maintenance wise these are so much easier to wear and not worry about damaging them unlike the lnfs that have bleeding leather and delicate cracked leather as well
