I just realized that the bottle of wine at the end the name is côte rotie who in french can be translate by : side roasted.... great foreshadowing of gustavo's death
Just think about it. If it weren't for Nacho, ALOT of this woulda gone down differently. His devotion to his dad ALONE I felt soo true. They both spoke few words, and towards the end the only time they both spoke, it ended on a bad note. But Nacho. Still. FOUGHT. FOR. HIS. DAD. this very reason put Tuco in jail, Krazy 8 to take his position(would vouch for em) and referred Saul as a Lawyer, and let's not forget that anxiety inducing scene when he swapped Don Hectors meds, ultimately putting em ina wheelchair
Very interesting detail many people do not see of Gustav. 4:08 Gustavo never shows himself panicking not even to the viewers. He turns out the light so we don't see him running like a madman. His dark side is never shown. Always professional Only time he's shown himself panicking was when Hector's bomb went boom. If you watched Gus' interaction with Walter, you can see him unraveling little by little because Walter was way way stronger. Walter is just powerful. He made Gus reveal his emotions.
Hank is kinda underrated. He played a MASSIVE role in the story, the biggest role next to Walt and Jesse. Took down the Salamanca twins by himself. Killed Tuco in a gunfight where Tuco had an AR and Hank had a pistol. And he was the only one to suspect Gus as a crimelord, not to mention how smart he was to put 2 and 2 together the entire Heisenberg case.
But man you have to admit how much he underestimated Walt in the earlier seasons (probably because they family, but still). Like he could have 2 and 2 together in first season itself and figure out that Walt was the one

Yet another amazing edit! Seeing all these key moments leading up to Gus's ultimate revenge really puts into perspective how small Walter White truly was in this criminal world. That he was nothing more than an unknown variable, a misplaced decimal in Gus's calculated plan for revenge that turned everything on it's head.
Sooooo good! This is probably the best tribute edit of Gus, or any fictional character really. This encapsulate what makes gus so terrifying and showstopping as a character I love how he's so cold, ruthless, and calculated yet still entirely driven by emotions, and this edit just perfectly captures that! Just absolutely incredible work!
Gustavo Fring was a damn good villain, and one that in the end, won. Walter killed him, but he had the sick pleasure of completely fulfilling his revenge plot to perfection. And he also never got to watch his empire fall. In my books he won.
Giancarlo Esposito has played many great roles, especially the villains: - Gus Fring. (Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul) - Stan Edgar. (The Boys) - Moff Gideon. (The Mandalorian) - The Dentist. (Payday 2) - Anton Castillo. (FAR CRY 6) - Lex Luthor. (Harley Quinn) - Baxter Stockman. (TMNT: Mutant Mayhem) - Mister K. (M.F.K.Z.)
@@WhyTho525 they didn't torture a crippled old man for years. The cartel is kind of uninvolved since bolsa isn't a big villain but the Salamanca's are all about family. Gustavo is all about revenge and eventually becomes worse than the Salamanca's.
@@ELLI0TR0DGER Hector brought it on himself. He also put his entire family in danger and many of them likely died even before BCS and BB ("Salamanca did! Salamanca money! Salamanca blood!"). Most of the Salamancas we've seen in the show are sociopathic because Hector abused them and trained them like that, although I think Lalo was a psychopath and Hector's teachings made him more dangerous. Also, Eladio is basically the whole reason why the rivalry between Gus and Hector started. Hell, he even made fun of Hector's condition which even disgusted Bolsa (the man who took part in beheading Tortuga) and only viewed Max's death as a minor spank to Gus. I personally believe that Eladio is the most purely evil character in the whole show considering that basically he caused the Salamanca vs Gus war and the many deaths that caused are indirectly caused by Eladio. Lalo is close 2nd in terms of being most evil. Gus has way too many redeeming qualities to be Pure Evil or even to Near Pure Evil: - The way he treats his employees as Los Pollos Hermanos seems rather genuine and actually cares about his resturants. - He treats many characters with respect like Mike, Jesse, Gale, Nacho, Lydia, Peter Schuler and his own doctor (whom they refer to each-other in first name basis). - He has a genuine sense of honor, unlike characters like Eladio, Jack, Lalo and Walt. - The village in BCS season 5 which was dedicated to Max entirely. - His love for Max is still very much present, Pure Evil characters are incapable of any forms of love. Incredible Gustavo Fring was one of the best villains in film/TV ever!
Fact.
He IS.
Now this is up to pollos standards, impeccable job !
Gus only lost because of Walt’s plot armor.
What a devil! The greatest villain of all time, his charisma is unforgettable
He feared the wrong salamanca and let his ego get in the way of how he was meticulous for all those year.
