Honestly I actually think he’s getting into character as a Clippers GM. A bunch of moves that sound good in theory they just don’t quite work that way, that Suggs play would’ve been genius had they not called the bluff.

Yeah I think castle should be sent back bc Trae has the leverage to request a trade, spurs hold all the decision making power in owning those picks, and hawks don’t have the value to ask for those picks back plus their 4th overall rookie a year prior

In the season is the plan to try to trade larger contracts such as Ingrams for smaller ones to try and bounce back cap space wise or do you think this team is ready to compete and the young core/new additions can really step up and provide an all rounded offense similar to what we saw in the playoffs.

Clint Capela was affordable because you had Bird Rights, which mean you can go over the salary cap if it’s a player that’s returning to your team after a long-term (3yr, I think) contract. Also, if you increase the “Min Player” and “Max Player” sliders in the Contract settings by 5 units every 2 days of free agency, players will expect less money as they stay in free agency. Remember to move both sliders back down after free agency though so mid-season contract extensions aren’t cheaper. Def just sharing an idea, not a suggestion. Love the series as you have it. I’ve found it does help to avoid players asking for too much money and just sitting in free agency as opposed to taking less money on a 1-year deal late in free agency. I’ve found this issue becomes worse each year in 2K. Thanks again, dope series.
yea the sliders moving every 1/2 days is perfect, I've used something similar in 2k23 (or 22 I don't remember) to not have 80+ players jobless at the end of the free agency

Naz is years removed from a 6th man role in this simulation and would be a more than serviceable starting four man.
