It's pretty impressive how quickly a long loaded train can stop when emergency is thrown

I REALLY appreciated the New York Central car today of all days. My best friend who was killed a year ago today in an automobile accident had a room of nothing but NYC memorabilia, collected during the 30 years that his father worked on the New York Central. We spent many a day hanging out in that room and it is truly serendipitous that you started this video drop with that. Your videos are ALWAYS astounding and I love watching then every day. Thank you for all the effort that you put in to educate and amuse us every day!!

One time, I went to the Old Thresher’s Reunion in Mount Pleasant, IA with my grandparents, and we were on the way back home when we stopped in Ottumwa, IA to see the Amtrak California Zephyr arrive and depart. On the rear end of the train were two private cars: Union Pacific “Pacific Home” and the C&O Blue Ridge! I was really happy to see these cars and my grandma and I chatted with the person in the Blue Ridge car! I am happy to see that the Blue Ridge is still going strong today!

It was nice to see the LORAM and the Rocky in Revy...I wonder if they ever mis-couple the Mountaineer so that the swooshes don't line up--and speaking of swooshes, the Golden Swoosh is always great. Watching the barge maneuvering through the bridge was a terrific example of different transportation modes co-existing. And then you gave us another fabulous ending with--as always--the perfect music. I can only imagine the hours and hours you spend finding it, but it's much appreciated!

The old SD9 wins it hands-down. It's been in service for around 70 years and has witnessed so many changes in the railroad industry, including the 1996 merger of its original owner SP with UP.

Question:9:52 4 engines in Hesperia, CA. How do we find out which engine is a TIER 3-4 TO BE IN CALIFORNICATE? No TIER 1 or 2 can be in the state, so it should be fair to the winds that ONLY TIER 3 AND 4 BE ALLOWED CORRECT? Oh yea, don't forget to turn the engine power down too!
Tier 1came out for trucks in 2003. No difference in smog. Tier 2 came out in 2007. No difference in smog. Tier 3 came out in 2011. No difference in smog in Los Angeles. Tier 4 came out in 2015. No difference in smog. 2016 Tier 1 and 2 banned from Californicate. Any difference in the Los Angeles Smog?
