Thank you for your kind comments and for contributing to our channel at White Collar Advice. I made so many bad decisions after getting involved in the system. I had no where to turn for honest, practical advice. I hope speaking openly about my bad choices helps others understand the importance of living a values based life. Again, thank you for your kind and thoughtful words!

I was a stockbroker and financial planner for years. I know for certain that if I had a lower sense of ethics, I would have been more successful. But my conscience simply wouldn't allow it. I finally left the business after a partner of mine was sued in a frivolous case, and her lawyers brought me into the case. Even the plaintiff didn't want me implicated, since it had nothing to do with me. All charges against me were dropped, but it left me feeling very vulnerable, frightened, and un-motivated.

You really should have a lot more subscribers. Thank you for sharing how you got to where you did. Your turnaround is impressive, and I'm sure a lot of people, myself included, appreciate you sharing your perspective of life then and now.

Amazing content! Really high quality and loved it. One thing. At 38:40 it sounded like there was a 2nd audio playing over the movie. Was that just me??? Regardless, it’s an incredible story of redemption. It must be satisfying to know you repaid the debt of broken trust, etc many times over. I know you are banned, but I’d let you manage my 401k anytime. 😀

If you saw a couple of stocks I bought for my son you would be giving a second thought to letting me manage your 401k!! Thanks for watching movie. You may be right about audio. I think I made a minor mistake while exporting. Just glad it is at end. Thank you again for kind words. I am grateful to have a platform to share my story and help others traverse this difficult journey. Really appreciate you contributing to our community.

Over the last 5-10 minutes of this video there is a second extraneous overlapping audio track that I think is not intended to be there.

As a former stockbroker, it's SO easy for someone to trade themselves into disaster. One of the brokers had a client who became addicted to trading options ("Why buy the stock when you can just buy the options?") He became so arrogant that he stopped talking to me because he felt that he was too important. He had a HUGE short position in multiple options, and then the market suddenly turned bullish. He lost so much $ so quickly that he was suddenly $250k in the hole. He suffered a nervous breakdown, and I never saw him again.

I was born in Encino. That town matters for reasons only people who lived there at a certain time, can fully understand. I enjoy your content, been subbed for a long time, first time commenting. You did an amazing thing in turning your life around.
I'd love to hear your perspective on the YT finance grift channels. AMC, pump and dumps. "Not financial advice". Are they in danger? Are they giving finance advice without a license? Are they immoral? Looking forward to your continuing content.
    Cheers!

Talking to previous employers gets tricky. Many now will only release an acknowledgment or disavowal of actual employment. NO details.

Im actually addicted to his channel now. Lol. Im hearing second audio about 3/4 way through. I thought i had two videos at once playing. Anyone else hear this?
Im from Michigan that makes not to much but in union teamsters. We get 30bucks a day into 401k should i take that out and do stocks on me own or should i let prudential keep doing what they been doing?

    • @WhiteCollarAdviceOfficial

Thank you for your nice message. Yes, to the second video, I made a mistake. It took years to get permission from Esquire and NBC to post this video. Then when I recorded it I simultaneously recorded the conversation I had. I decided not to repost. Thank you for enduring it!! To your investment, I try to shy away from investment advice. That said, stockpicking is very difficult and can become an obsession. I would stick to the indexes. Won’t make as much, but you also won’t get destroyed by investing in individual stocks. Happy Hollidays!!

Is there supposed to be a background audio track? It is distracting and seems out of place.

Wait... polygraphs are not admissible in court, right? Why accept taking one and why admit to a crime after the test? Just take an attorney who tells the polygraph people to go away. Maybe I missed something though, went through the end a bit fast, the audio annoys me to no end. It's a shame, this is otherwise interesting.
