I think GM made a mistake when it discontinued the Volt in favor of the fully electric Bolt. Having both electric and gasoline power allows one to travel locally on electric power and have the gasoline engine for longer distances without having to stop for an extended period of time to charge up the vehicle. I wish that all vehicle manufacturers (excluding Tesla and Rivian) would make the effort to design and manufacture more plug-in types of vehicles. They would have more real-world practicality than fully electric vehicles.
