So mid 1960s sound. Not a knock. I was just beginning to understand the music scene around me. Top 40 Radio WCOG, I had grown up listening to country because that was what my Dad listened to. It was fun being a preteen and early teen between 1966-1969. Woodstock, The Vietnam Conflict and the Manson Murders changed my world view
this is a re-recording of their own 'One night stand' instead of releasing the same song with another name ( it happened) . The Daze Of The Week version was tougher and better

From the crude recording you’d this maybe this recording predates the Daze of the Weeks version…. Which I’m pretty sure is the case
