Somebody needed to take this company aside and tell them EXACTLY everything you said in this video. The clothing is bad. The packaging is bad. The retail price is bad. They drew a line in the sand by not being compatible with literally ANY other fashion doll brand currently on the shelves. We don't need more DOLLS. We need more FASHIONS for the dolls we already HAVE. Disney ILY fashions fit OTHER fashion dolls. The Fresh Dolls, and Naturalistas, have fashions that fit OTHER fashion dolls. This makes those brands immediately relevant in the market because if customers don't purchase a doll, they may at least purchase a fashion pack for their previously owned dolls.
i agree with a lot of what u said in the video. it feels like this brand is trying to position itself as adult collector targeted playline dolls, but they've misunderstood, or at least failed to properly execute the fundamental things collectors like to see in dolls. you can't just call your doll fashionable and put her in a big box without putting real care into the clothes and filling the box with reasons to be so large.
They aren't super fashion forward but I think there's a sweetness to them I can really appreciate as their own vibe. Londynn is definitely my overall favorite and the strongest of the quartet but Harper is a doll I keep seeing at the store & looking at. It really IS the high pricepoint of $30 per doll at this point because it's a lot to ask of a new line. All of the clothing is at least well constructed tho and arguably is outdoing Barbara in quality that way. $13 for an outfit is also a lot but I do think if Barbara was putting out one off outfits in this quality for that price we'd all be ok with it (the mattel creations outfits are all $25 each for comparison) so I can't fault them much. I have no clue how this line will fare but need to see secondary releases/plans before the end of the year if they even have a shot at making it.
Not a fan of them but the dolls should have just came the fashion pack as the second outfit because the price is egregious to say the least, great video as always Dom!
Are these on clearance yet? $30 is a lot and it seems like you're mostly paying for the air in the box. I only wanted Londynn's fashion pack but idk if it fits my other dolls.
With the way the boxes are designed and the brand promoting the dolls at a fashion show, they really could have gone for an editorial or runway fashion doll line. In a weird way I think that’s what they were going for? But I think they missed the mark unfortunately. The fits are definitely outdated and the legs are cracking me upp 😭
I really like the dolls and would buy them immediately, but unfortunately they are hardly available here in Europe and after all the rather negative reviews I also doubt that we will ever get them in stores here. The price point is also a real problem. If they already cost 30 dollars in the US, they would certainly cost the equivalent of 40 or even 50 dollars here. ☹️
Townspeople lol In general I think these dolls are funny looking, but I do really like Londynn and would consider getting her. The price point could definitely be lower
Oh they are 100% Bratz inspired, if not, blatant copies. The entire premise of the line is that these four friends use their individual style to work together and run a magazine. If that’s not plagiarism I don’t know what is.
They are super flops 100%. Their section isn't moving at all. No kids want such boring looking packaging- they look for bright boxes with lots of accessories such as MH and adults don't want these fashions. I even saw in a post that someone who was sent these for PR was selling dolls and these were already on the table to be sold lol
I bought two fashion packs for my Bratz, and they fits well. I tried seeing what the doll brand was about on insta but all the AI art/photography made me really annoyed.
The dolls have no personality. I can't even make up a personality for each doll because there isn't anything to work with. When i first saw the dolls packaging i was like ooohhh who are you? Then nothing. It's like a mannequin line not a doll line.
@@DoIIyMama when I pick up a doll, I play out a whole personality in my head before I look any further into the doll. I admire a lot of dolls from a far even if I don't collect them. These doll read mannequin to me and thats all I get. Although I do realize others find different viewpoints with dolls. That's just my opinion alone of these dolls.😊

I love these dolls! I got them all and their fashion packs. I'm so glad to see you review them
I noticed too that they aren't selling when I go to Walmart.
These dolls were unneeded. The market is saturated enough, unless you're bring something really amazing to the table.

Yea, I haven't seen doll influencers talk about these after the launch party 😅 so I dont think people really care for these
They're cute but just not my thing

Well, that's sorta what fashion dolls were before MH and their whole heritage printed outfits came in the scene..

@@DollDivasDungeonoh I can see that. For me it's their blank looking eyes, and it doesn't help the face sculpt is concaved where the eyes are printed
The concept is cute but I really don’t like these dolls, they don’t call my attention but maybe kids will like them
