I'd like to belive after Amethyst matures a bit and learns to find self worth in her self rather then in others, and garnet learns to exist in the present a bit more, that Sugilite actually becomes REALLY nice.
Sugilite is an amazing antag,the cover art makes her look ikke such a menace compared to malachite ect. I also love how HUGE sugilite is in comparison to any other fusion,she's really quite the menace!

This is what I don't get: Synchronize had hints of Garnet and Amythest in it, but Sugilite's actual theme sounds nothing like either one of them even though she is a mix of them both! Maybe it just symbolizes how she wanted to be her own entity and never defuse?
i feel like synchronise going into sugilite's theme symbolises metamorphosis but also more. think about it; while garnet and amethyst fuse/dance, both of their dances represent themselves, hence the hints of each other in synchronize, but when sugilite's actual theme fades in, everything becomes a whole lot more alarming and distressing. sugilite's theme highlights what, in the episode where sardonyx is introduced, is. garnet at first explains why it wouldn't be a good idea for amethyst and her to fuse, as together, combining garnet's rashness and amethyst's recklessness, it would probably end in shambles. so, rather than including what amethyst and garnet already have in their sugilite form, they create something entirely new, which is, sugilite's lunacy, bringing something knew to the table, which would explain why sugilite's theme is so different from what synchronise is.
I can see that, I mean Amethyst can be reckless, Ruby can hotheaded and Sapphire can be stubborn. Combine all those 3 together and it's just a gigantic mess.
