Vermouth was her closest and dearest friend in the kitchen!
I love how she says "we don't need to go back over how to make pie crust" and then just gives 90% of a pie crust recipe anyway lol
I would rather watch Julia than anyone else. She fascinates me. I learned to cook and bake from her. 🙏
Sure loved her alcohol!!!!
Many times she was drinking while cooking.
Thats French cooking .....not her.
@baritonebynight
No it was her drinking
I can already tell she's been hitting the rose... it's 'en croute...'
0:13 the Art Department really went all out on that can. 😀
Had to hide the brand somehow, lol!
👌she said oregano...👍. As for vermouth....that's on my list of recipe destroyers...along with star anise ... lol.
She said you can leave it out.
😀👍🏽 Julia Child is the best!
Her delightful enthusiasm for this recipe made my day! She was just beaming. The funnel demonstration was an absolute classic!
WOW does that look GOOOOD!!!! I love how she pronounces oregano as "orie-GAHN-no" so elegant!
All these years I've been puttin sauce on my biscuits?? I thought I was using gravy. SMH
In this context, sauce = gravy. 🙂
I love her use of the correct pronounciation of Oregano!
Basically an easy recipe not counting the dough part. Could be even easier if you use already made pie dough from the store.
Or you can also get pre made puff pastry.
