The Sunday lunch looked great. The heat has brought about a number of plan changes for us all to keep our pooches and us safe. Great you got out early enough for a walk before the heat built. the beach looked lovely. Have a good week, all the best, David & Rachel
Good video and lovely walk to the lighthouse. I hope Alex appreciated your remark about the Talbot 😂. I find your sense of humour interesting! ! 😉Take care 🚐👍
You both got a bit of sun! And while you were leaving, it looked like a very hot day in store. I'm sure both you and Heather are glad the heat has lifted. Very nice campsites!
Another good Vlog guys! 👍🏻 I love Lighthouses they seem magical to me! Also I share your pain Rick as I always have to wait for Mark to get up in the mornings! 🙄😴 Best wishes, Jules (& Mark) 🖖🏻😊
Nice trip and a nice circular walk to. Happisburgh a very strange name, my first trip was to photograph the lighthouse and some of th sea defences. Nice carpark at the topand a easy walk to the beach. You did right Togo early to miss the heat and a good reason to have the odd jar or 2 🤣👍
Yep it was a good walk and a lovely route but honestly the heat that week was just ridiculous! The afternoon really was about surviving the heat as we just couldn’t do anything!
Oooh that brought back some memories😜. Our first little van in the picture that you see was taken last year on the Nelsons Patch campsite opposite where you stayed. It was our first ever trip in the van and not that fantastic ha ha! The weather was pants, the site had literally opened that day and had no electric. We had 2 leisure batteries but no solar and after the first day the engine battery level had dropped to 10.9 we panicked and went home (well I panicked 😱). We missed doing the lovely walks that you did coz it was raining and miserable!!! So, Rick and Heather thanks for showing us what we missed (and we nearly got stuck down a really narrow lane). Love your fun approach to stuff, keep the chuckles coming. ATB Ruth
Ha! Oh dear but glad you enjoyed our take on it, the campsite next door didn’t take dogs unfortunately so we can’t try it but the lighthouse inn was good enough. Thanks for watching as always Ruth 😊
You got the pronunciation right in the end , there are lots of places in Norfolk that aren't pronounced how it sounds. Happisburgh Lighthouse is our favourite and the beach there is great for photography. Good to see the ramp to the beach repaired the sea keeps wiping it away. Sad to say that the whole village is under threat from the sea in the short term. Bed news when it's so hot. Looking forward to the next one. H and M
Yep when we walked along the coastline back to Walcott we were amazed at the erosion, also the little village as you come into Walcott was hanging in there…. Lovely place tho, glad we saw it on your vlog 👍
Haha we are the same, I’m a late riser too 😂 EXCEPT when we are in the camper & the roles somehow 🔄 reverse 😚 Lovely little place, love Norfolk, but not been to Happy berg 🤣 Em xx
Thanks Em yeah Norfolk is great although I’m still thinking Suffolk was better… I sleep better in the van but still never too late. Cheers for watching and commenting 🖤🏴☠️
I originate from the county of Rutland....well somebody has to I suppose. We used to go to Happisburg for our summer holiday...my parents hired a caravan for a week there. I believe the annual holiday for a working man was 2 weeks....in the 1950´s. My dad worked in the ironstone pits around Corby. We were poor but we were happy.
Always thought a black van was asking for trouble when it's hot. Lunch looked good. Your site was better value than one we stayed at near Chipping Lancaster, Pitch for 2 nights with EHU and the only facility was a toilet in a converted twin wheel cattle trailer £56😨😨Cheers K.
Handy having a pub on site 👍 I’d have gone for Happis-burg. Wise going out early in that heat. Horse whisperer Rick. Nice beach. Never would have known it was Haze-borough. Quite a long walk. You did well in the heat. 👍😉🧙♂️

It was an excellent week but far too hot! The camp after this offered some relief tho!
Good video and lovely walk to the lighthouse. I hope Alex appreciated your remark about the Talbot 😂. I find your sense of humour interesting! ! 😉Take care 🚐👍
Thanks Eric, I realise I’m a bit Marmite but the only way to do UA-cam is be yourself… “interesting” is a term I’ve not been called 😂
Superb drone footage!😄 nice vid guy's 👌
You don’t think I’m going a bit o.t.t with the technology then? 😂
Looked a lovely place, nice and peaceful 🙂
We really enjoyed the area yes, thanks for watching 🏴☠️🖤

The next few days were hotter still but as you’re going to see we found a great campsite to get some relief 👍

I’ve never known someone sleep so much or be able to fall asleep so easily. 😂
@@RickandHeather Yep sounds like Mark plus he can doze off anywhere!
The older I get the worse my sleep pattern has become.

Ha! Wait until Monday for stupid high prices… I had a rant
@@RickandHeather Oh dear!!!
Love a decent lighthouse. Hard travelling when it’s so hot. Nice site. Dogger 🤣

Innuendo comes for free 🤣
I did well getting Heather up that time…. Wait until the next vlog for heat! Oh man.
I believe it’s pronounced “Haysborough” .
Yes we did check later in the video 😊
@@RickandHeather My apologies. Made the classic mistake of commenting before watching the whole thing😊
@@peterrose9886 I do the same sometimes 😂
We live 15 Minutes away
I’d love to live near the coast, you’re very lucky.
Hi both it's pronounced hazebourgh
Yep we got it right eventually 👍
