A freestyle competition at a top level.
For the 4th consecutive year, Zapata Racing invited the world best Flyboard® riders to fight for the World Champion title, in Dubai on 2nd, 3rd and 4th December.
The competition counted 62 participants, selected on video, competing in Pro Rider, Ladies and Veteran categories. 42 pros rider contestants, 10 veterans and 10 ladies from over 20 countries
This edition was a wonderful occasion for the contestants to test the limits of the new Flyboard® Pro Series and to show the complete panel of possible tricks during their freestyle battles.
Contestants are judged by a jury of 6 professionals that give a score for each of these criteria: Technique, showmanship, diversity and energy.
Also, this year was introduced the first Hoverboard by ZR® race.
Flyboard® in a nutshell
In just 4 years, Flyboard® has become a recognized extreme sport that appeals to users looking to defy the laws of gravity as it allows the user to fly over 12m high or dive like a dolphin.
Flyboard® is a deck with two nozzles pointing downwards, linked to a Jet Ski pump via a fire-type hose. The throttle is handled by the
Flyboard® rider and the direction depend on the inclination of the deck.

Une compétition freestyle au niveau inégalé
Pour la quatrième année consécutive, Zapata Racing® a invité les meilleurs riders de Flyboard® du monde entier à s’affronter lors de la coupe du monde qui s’est déroulée les 2, 3 et 4 décembre.
Cette compétition a accueillie 62 participants préalablement sélectionnés sur vidéo et répartis selon les catégories Pro, Vétérans et Femmes. 42 participants dans la catégorie pro rider, 10 de la catégorie Veterans & 10 de la catégorie Ladies venant de plus de 20 pays différents s’affronteront lors de la compétition
Cette édition était l’occasion pour les participants dont le niveau ne cesse de s’améliorer, de tester les limites du nouveau Flyboard® pro series et de montrer l’étendue des figures possibles lors de leur battles de freestyle.
Les participants sont jugés par un jury de 6 professionnels qui attribuent une note en fonction des critères suivants : La technique, le show, la diversité et l’énergie dans l’exécution des figures.
L’édition 2015 était également celle de la première course d’Hoverboard by ZR®
Le Flyboard® en quelques mots
En seulement 4 ans, le Flyboard® est devenu un sport extrême qui a conquis les utilisateurs souhaitant défier les lois de la gravité puisqu’il permet de voler à plus de 12m ou de plonger tel un dauphin.
Techniquement, le Flyboard® est une planche agrémentée de deux buses reliée à la turbine d’un jetski. Le tuyau permet de redirigé l’eau générée par la turbine du jetski créant ainsi la propulsion qui permet de s’élever. Les commandes sont gérées depuis le Flyboard® et l’orientation est donnée en fonction de l’inclinaison donnée à la planche.

Трюки хорошие, но смотрится уныло, без огонька. Всем надо учиться у Вершининой. Потому что харизма должна подчеркиваться и одеждой.
