Nighrcrawler is who I used for my run and he absolutely destroyed. His evade made root and invulnerable phases sooo easy. Profx power gain synergy also helped him throw tons of specials easily and helped bypass counter attack when I triggered it (I didn’t really read to much about punishments so I triggered it but all it took was throwing special/using relic to remove it). I showed Campo my time doing it but it went really well, considering I didn’t fully learn the mechanics before doing it.
I finally got a solo of him with Bishop 7*. What worked for me was getting him to throw heavies, especially the 3rd and indestructible phase. Punishing his heavies over specials was easier and safer.
Do you have a guide? I am struggling with this boss. He kills me in one combo. I used storm x and got him to 20% and quit. Wasted 8 revs. I only have her and prof x for prowess champs.
As long as you're not taking the path where u lose prowess any one with a big hitting special can do it. You don't need prowess champs. You gain prowess through completing the things so don't worry about using a prowess champ. I used Doom and he walked it. Not as clean as this but his specials were hitting super hard once you've got 10+ prowess. I feel way more comfortable with dexing his sp1 as well so I had the option to power steal him back to an sp1 if I pushed him over 2 bars
@araoyegbadebo3569 I would avoid using domino because of the random stuns she can place it will mess with his challenge thingies. Same reason i wouldnt use storm px.Doom was my go to (avoid using the heavy at the end of a combo). I've used a few different champs with varying results. Emma Frost works well. Juggernaut can put it a really good shift also. Basically anyone who has decent damage specials will work. You will end up with 10+ prowess after so long anyway and any champ can hit hard enough. My Doom was doing 30% on his sp2 after about 14 prowess!
@araoyegbadebo3569 Kingpin probably better for it tbf. I know he's an anti herc fight cuz he gets sp3 immediately when you go immortal but if you stick to sp1 cuz of the stun on sp2 you can get him down slowly lol

Fun fact AA neurotoxins shut down his "root" mechanics in phase 3, only reason I cleared it

Yea anybody can. I smoked him with Doom. Not as clean as this but it felt like he was killing him quicker than Nightcrawler

this boss already aged so poorly... i spent 15 revives at my first path and ended doing it itemless by the last path
