That's what is dangerous about Flash villians honestly... Speedsters dont really have a kryptonite, so it's hard to subdue. I mean Barry has killed thawne in the comics to save his wife. The flash didn't even get sentenced for it. I know Barry doesn't want to take the Oliver route (thisis based on my previous CW knowlege as i havent watched this season), but it's times like these i honestly don't see another way. Actually... if Barry learns how to drain Speed.... then sure.
I only enjoy this show when it makes sense for Barry to lose or struggle, like in this current situation. The show at it's prime when he's up against another speedster or an extremely powerful enemy

Not even an enemy.” So Barry: Killed Atom smasher, sandman, etc His foster dad, the man he looks up to: A cop who’s killed multiple people in the line of duty from the very first episode His wife: killed a future version *of Barry* His best friend, mentor, and partner in justice: killed so many he filled Star city’s morgues for years. I’m not advocating death here, but Barry and especially the people he holds dearest have a well established affinity for it.
So it was Diggle who introduced the term, "leveled up." to the team...hence why Cecile said that to Barry before he went to deal with Royal Flush and why Caitlin said it in Jitters after Barry saved the people on the trains.
The one thing that forced me away from this show that I once loved, is the SERIOUS inconsistencies with Barry's speed. After seven seasons it looks like they still haven't learned their lesson, glad I stopped after season 4.
Godspeed felt like one of the only ones who did not underestimate how powerful Barry is. One if the biggest offenders of this was the Thinker due to him being the smartest but most overconfident.

He gets his ass handed to him every other episode, he gets all mopey, the team draws lots on who gets to do the pep talk this episode and then Iris saves the day somehow.

it's not a real thing on this new suit anymore, the hat is virtual. I mean, you clearly see him in the suit without a hat hanging on the back like others old suit right, and you have never seen he put his hat on (by hand) as well

That's what is dangerous about Flash villians honestly... Speedsters dont really have a kryptonite, so it's hard to subdue. I mean Barry has killed thawne in the comics to save his wife. The flash didn't even get sentenced for it. I know Barry doesn't want to take the Oliver route (thisis based on my previous CW knowlege as i havent watched this season), but it's times like these i honestly don't see another way. Actually... if Barry learns how to drain Speed.... then sure.

I only enjoy this show when it makes sense for Barry to lose or struggle, like in this current situation. The show at it's prime when he's up against another speedster or an extremely powerful enemy

So it was Diggle who introduced the term, "leveled up." to the team...hence why Cecile said that to Barry before he went to deal with Royal Flush and why Caitlin said it in Jitters after Barry saved the people on the trains.
The one thing that forced me away from this show that I once loved, is the SERIOUS inconsistencies with Barry's speed. After seven seasons it looks like they still haven't learned their lesson, glad I stopped after season 4.
Godspeed felt like one of the only ones who did not underestimate how powerful Barry is. One if the biggest offenders of this was the Thinker due to him being the smartest but most overconfident.

I truly would not mind a new speedster every season but damn does the writing need to get better. Every struggle seems so forced. Barry never ever seems to be able to let loose. Guy can run laps around the whole world to punch Lex Luthor in the throat but in this show he always seems so weak. He gets his ass handed to him every other episode, he gets all mopey, the team draws lots on who gets to do the pep talk this episode and then Iris saves the day somehow.

@@skia5635 he had no involvement with Eobard being erased. With Zoom, he led the Time Wraith's to him. He led Atom Smasher into the reactor to get tumours and die. With Sand Demon he threw lightening that turned him to glass and shatter.
