“We have seen protesters throughout the course of today; they’ve really turned on mainstream media,” she said.

The way that the media has behaved, particularly in Victoria, has enabled a corrupt and dishonest state government, rather than holding them to account. Under those circumstances, the anger is not only predictable - it is justified. Watching the uncritical and softball questions particularly in Daniel Andrews press conferences is a case in point. The last time he felt even a smidging of heat from the press gallery was the last time Peta Credlin was there. Unfortunately - she is a rarity, an exception, rather than the rule.
