also something you implied but didn’t specifically state in the video, zeph nade is one of the best (non committal) abilities in the game at forcing dashes. it has insane range, very hard to wasd out of, and its cooldown is very low too. i often toss one at a high prio target (someone with only 1 or 2 dashes: shrike, joule, myth, ghost, hudson, etc) at the start of the fight and it almost always forces their dash
He's definitely broken in the right hands. I started playing SUPERVIVE after binge watching all your videos. Long story short - I suck. Badly. I've played League of Legends since 2011 and playing SUPERVIVE feels like trying to play Zeri but with 5 times more buttons to worry about. using WASD for movement instead of mouse is killer for figuring out finger placement for all abilities. I got a squad of League friends to play with me and I am absolutely a ball&chain for them. I had a Zeph game where I actually managed to do 0 dmg. The only reason I'm still playing is because they don't seem to mind 3v4 carrying and somehow always manage to place 5th or above, winning a decent amount of games despite having me as a team member. I've tried all the "easy" difficulty characters and nobody seems to click. I think i'm just not good at this type of game. Glad I found this channel anyway.
It'll come with time dw. I have been playing league for a decade mostly in high diamond/master elo and am a rather highly mechanical player and yet i am still overwhelmed with supervive's gameplay after 10+ hours of gameplay. I am glad you have a group that is patient with you and i am sure their patience will pay off soon :)

As someone who played Dota 2 competitively, this feels like you are starting to get more into drafting. Recent mobas have all been very "light" mobas in the sense that strategy isn't as pivotal (compared to e.g. Warcraft or Dota), but on a competitive level you absolutely have to consider these facets anyway. You learned this pretty fast from the looks of it. You should never think of a hero as "how does it feel to play", but rather "what does it bring to the team"? Can you force early fights? Do you enable peeling? Do you force opponents to respect you? Void is a fairly obvious example; in a game where drafting is blind, having the ability to lock down an entire team is going to be instrumentally powerful in competitive games even if you don't immediately do anything else. Just having Void means you can always threaten a team stun, disallowing enemies you effectively engage your team at all until you are taken care of. Zeph brings absurd utility to the team in almost all forms: healing, mobility, zoning. He is definitely overtuned, but it isn't as obvious as most people simply don't look at the game that way.
