Matt's voice has really grown on me for the last few months as I've been going back through the catalog he's put together with 3DG, and especially now since Explosions came out a few weeks ago. He & Adam are just different. Bring different vibes. Loved Adam's voice endlessly, and it got me through so much growing up. But I've genuinely grown to appreciate the different tone and grit of Matt's voice, especially lately. Almost feels like two different, really fucking killer bands at this point.
Absolutely! Matts job was not to impersonate Adam...only to sing and do justice to the older tunes....as himself. in my books both Adam and Matt are great vocalists who knock it out of the park!
I became a sucker for Matt's vocals very quickly! Loving how his voice matured over the span of the last few albums 🔥
