@@stfukai1 im glad you are able to find joy in their newer releases/songs, but I am unable to. i feel as though they lost their original endearing, edgy/emo sound as their production value increased. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions love :)
@@lovepixies i agree that their releases are not as charmingly youthful/rough (if those are adjectives that i can use to describe it lol) as they used to be. but i also think that it's just a thing as a musician you just grow out of certain seasons. and like you said everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and not all music is for everyone. but dont get me wrong, sweet tooth doesn't hit anywhere close to best buds or puppy love. but i do still think that it is good music. it just doesn't sound a amateur (using that in a good light) as it used to sound. i just feel bad for musicians whenever they do switch up sound/production and listeners dont really think about the implications of being a growing musician. sorry for the lengthy response. im not disagreeing with you though lol. old mom jeans over new mom jeans any day.
I got you… I play a little differently because I find it more accurate… Capo on third fret. Chords first: Cadd9 -> Gmaj -> Cadd9 slid up to 4th fret Tabs: hammer on B string 1st fret. Slide from first fret to 3rd fret. Play 5th fret high E string and slide to 7th fret and strum high E string again. Now play this pattern back and forth: Holding High E string 3rd fret and leaving other chords open play High E, B, G, B, High E, B, G. Now repeat the hammer on B string 1st fret slide to 3rd fret, and then play 5th fret high E string slide to 7th and strum again. Then you change it a little this time instead of the pattern… you play 8th fret B string, 7th fret B string, 5th fret B string, and finally 3rd fret B string. Now go back into strumming and you’ve go yourself a loop of the main part of the song. Let me know if you need more help!
Black hair and some eyeliner and bam you could be the spittin musical sound and image of the early 2000's.
