I had a model with a bottom slab. Not Th3 bloggers fault. I left it pit and for one and for my other two pit it in. Not a structural issue and fits my TV great! Thank you!!!! So much easier than the booklet and so easy to follow you!

Thank god for this video. Something that would have took me over 8 hrs only took me 2 1/2z if I could thumbs this up a million times I would. Because ain’t nobody got time to pay task rabbit over $150 to put this together because IKEA purposely give you directions that is hard to follow. I believe ikea does this on purpose so you have to get task rabbit. But THANK YOU FOR UA-cam!!!!!!!

Thank you sooooo much! I started at 11pm and finished at 5am! When finally putting in drawers It wasn't flush, and realized after turning the whole drawer upside down and rightside up 2 times. I put the tracks on backwards right was left and left was right. Ughhhh 😭😭😭 my back is killing me! My knees hurt and I'm dehydrated! Lol but this was the most detailed video on UA-cam thnx again!

This is a great video, I was able to successful put together my Dresser by following along with your instructions. I would suggest that you follow along with the instructions that come with your dresser, they may differ slightly. But all in all, this was the best video tutorial for the Brimnes 4 Drawer Dresser, it was extremely helpful, thank you!

I purchased the three drawer one. The Ikea picture instructions where difficult to follow. Now they do not even label the parts. 😣 It's guess work.🤔
But this visual instruction was great. It was easy to follow.👩🔧
Side note: The three drawer one has a bottom that should be installed prior to connecting the sides together.

I just find this now, thank you. We are trying to finish it with my mother, there is an issue, it seemed finished… ( not your mistake, I wonder if the holes are not too high, badly done by ikea) The drawers are too high on the metal lane and don’t fit especially on the top ! It is touching the white top lane. And yet we placed the metal stuffs inside well on the holes. Thanks 🙏

My daughter ordered two of these chests. I watched your video after assembling the first because I had no idea where the metal brace was to be placed in the walls of the chest. Thank you, I now know. Also, I have a floor to my (black) chest and I do not understand why the unfinished edge of partial board faces forward? It’s not visible to the eye once construction is complete. But I thought it was odd…
I was doing everything backwards. Thank you lol

This shit saved me like 5 hours
it's very helpful but, I have 2 comments:
1- in the 1st step while you are fixing the right and left @ 3:30 minutes, it should be vice versa. In another words, the left tool should be fixed in the right side and vice versa.
2- At min 11:48 you should verify that those parts are optional and mandatory to be used. you ignored it completely.
At the end, thanks for time and efforts. it's very helpful :))))

1- I think that everything is in order, if not the assembly will not be correct.
2- I wrote "if you want to fix it to the wall" which means it's optional.

Not sure if the gaps are correct but on the video his seems to fit perfect together ...
I'd highly recommend this video but watch him assemble first and make sure it's right before u go hammering away

Can I ask though, the sticky dots, what do they do? And the draws easily fall forward, even out if I'm not careful. Where have I gone wrong?

I havethat same drawer however that metal part that goes across didn’t come with mine and my drawers keep getting disjointed. Or getting derailed when opening the drawer.

just wondering why I have a couple of extra screws left after doing everything
If they're in wood, it's normal they are extra
I make a mistake with the first drawer installing the two sides and now I have to remove the plastic screw if there is an easy way to remove it without damaging the board, any suggestion
use glue and glue the plastic screw and pull out
How can we tell if we have the same exact dresser as you? I went to that link and I still don’t know.

Mines did too. Did you have a extra piece left over? I did but maybe I missed part of video showing what to do with last piece.

And for the drawers all I had to do was to make the screws tighter on the side of the drawers, which worked
Just a heads up for new viewers, 5:48 he only use 8 instead of the 12 describe in the instruction manual, despite being an IKEA 4 drawer exactly as shown in the video. Not 100% fit all IKEA Brimnes 4 drawers assembly. Viewer beware.

maybe you reversed the rails. remove the drawers and check

Does anyone know why it has to be on the wall?
For the safety of children. Many lawsuits have been filed against Ikea because of the furniture falling on the children. Therefore, IKEA insist that it is attached to the wall. But if there are no children in your house, there is no need to fixe it .

I managed to put it together. I was stuck for a moment because there was a gap btwn the baseboard but it was supposed to be that way smh

@@th3blogger I didn’t say you made a mistake. My dresser had an extra piece/ there was an unexplained gap in my dresser, that was not in yours but I was able to complete it. They probably changed the pieces of the dresser since your assembly.
