In my experience of working on the 19+ and 24+ models, when you replace the rear OE signals with LED signals the flash rate gets faster. If you also replace the front signals it gets even faster. So this is where i use the appropriate relay to remedy the fast flash. If you don't replace tje relay you will likely have fast flash. This does not damage anything, but may be confusing as ot is not the standard accepted flash rate
I see that this is set up without the addition of the license plate light, is that needed? Or does this setup provide plenty of light for the license plate? I would assume at night there is no light on the license plate making it impossible to see without braking.
If you want to illuminate your license plate then you will have to add that light. The tail light does not provide any white light on the license plate.
Hey Bart my integrated taillight came with two extra couplers attached to it one green and one brown what are those intended for? To tap into for my license plate light?

That is not related to the tail light. We have done a number of these in house, and sold hundreds to 19+ ZX6R owners, and nobody had this issue yet. One time there was an issue where the CE light turned on but when we read the code it was because the tip over sensor was disconnected and bike powered up. Someone missed a step in the sequence of installation and cause the CE light to turn on but that was unrelated to the equipment. You should retrieve the code from the dash so you can reference it to what caused CE to come on.
The R6 and R1 have a very slender OEM tail light. We decided to not make a tail light for that bike because there is not enough room to make signals distinguishable. We do have some designs for the R6 and R1 that are external signals, just haven't completed the projects yet.
Nope. You can't damage the lighting components with fast flash. Please note that if your bike signals flash very fast, and you've chosen the sequential signal program for signaling, then the sequence will not finish because the cycle time for each flash is too short. In that case you will not be lighting up all the signal LEDs.
Is this the same tail light as the one for the Ninja 400? I have one on my 400, am considering upgrading to a ZX6R, and wondering if I can swap it over.
The flash rate will not damage the light. If you are trying to use sequential signal, the sequence will not have enough time to complete if your flash rate is too fast, and you won't light up all the signal LEDs.
@@TSTindustries thank u, another question i have is the bike has 2 front turn signals of incandescent bulbs. Will flashing them fast with rear LEDs make it go bad?
The machines are turning and we are doing our best to make the production run of the closeouts that will be the base component of this system. We are going as fast as we can. If you are talking about the sequential signal mode that wipes amber light from center out, then it is one of the programmable modes that we built into our lights. There is a little button on the light enclosure, accessible from the trunk compartment after installation, and with each press of that button you toggle through 9 combinations of programs. If you want more information then please visit the product page dedicated to this model bike on our website tstindustries.com/kawasaki-ninja-636-zx6r-2019-/
I plugged in the turn signal connection, heard a pop and the taillight stopped working. The turn signals still work but i dont get a brake light anymore...what could of happened
Thay sounds like you blew the fuse for the tail light system. The signal connections are working according to your report, so that is not ehere ypu are experiencing a problem. Please check all of the connections made to the tail light circuit, and any aftermarket components yhat may be connected to it also. Ensure the connections are clean and do not have short circuits to ground or other condusctors. Then replace the fuse.
If you are asking about the new ZX25R that just launched with the 4 cyl engine then this is the same light that will fit in it. The only difference may be that the signal connectors are different because Kawasaki started using different signal connectors in markets outside of USA on some models. We do not have the ZX25R in our market so we have not made a dedicated tail light for that bike. You would have to replace the connectors for the signals on your own.
You most likely disconnected something like the exhaust servo and powered the bike. If you plugged it back in it just needs time to reset. I would recommend that you pull the code and find out what it is just in case. This way you don't end up ignoring an actual problem in case you have a coincidence of when you installed the tail light and when code came on.
We included 2 sets (4 individual signal connectors) that way all year ranges and models can use the light without the use of subharnesses. This light fits the Z400, Ninja 400, ZX-4RR, ZX-4R, ZX-6R, and ZX-10R. With each of those covering several years.

Sir, where can I buy that kind of tail lights?
Do you have the zx6r 2021 krt ?
The KRT and standard bike use the same tail light
Rushing through the reassembly kinda stinks. That's where we screw up on our first try on this project.
Will the hazard lights ( both left and right simultaneously) work on this unit as well?
Yes they will both flash simultaneously if your bike is equipped with hazard functionality.
You all probably dont care but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Roger Shane Instablaster ;)
@Owen Yusuf thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Owen Yusuf It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
i like the flash for the brake light. some guy almost rear ended me and told me that i had no brake lights and i definitely did LOL he just didnt see the brightness change
The brake alert function definitely helps to get noticed when braking.
@@TSTindustries one hundred percent. Amazing product
Where does the relay fit?
And what if you need a number plate light?
We sell all parts as modules. The license plate light is one module, tail light is another, and fender eliminator is yet another. For the relay installation see the following video: ua-cam.com/video/pJXGqLpbPPo/v-deo.html
@@TSTindustries thats fantastic. Hope you ship to the UK as ill be buying very shortly!
Can you do shipping/transportation to india?
We do ship to India. The payment has to be made through Paypal with a validated Paypal shipping address.
I was charged extra for the load balancing resistor
When showing the after, the bikes turn signals went from a regular 85 cycle to a fade out thing... how was this done
Do you ship here in the Philippines?
Heneral Tv They don’t sadly
I plugged in the turn signal connection, heard a pop and the taillight stopped working. The turn signals still work but i dont get a brake light anymore...what could of happened
Thay sounds like you blew the fuse for the tail light system. The signal connections are working according to your report, so that is not ehere ypu are experiencing a problem. Please check all of the connections made to the tail light circuit, and any aftermarket components yhat may be connected to it also. Ensure the connections are clean and do not have short circuits to ground or other condusctors. Then replace the fuse.
@@TSTindustries I did! Thank you so much, all is good now :)
@@justinlukas4621 great!
Do you have for zx25r
If you are asking about the new ZX25R that just launched with the 4 cyl engine then this is the same light that will fit in it. The only difference may be that the signal connectors are different because Kawasaki started using different signal connectors in markets outside of USA on some models. We do not have the ZX25R in our market so we have not made a dedicated tail light for that bike. You would have to replace the connectors for the signals on your own.
@@TSTindustries thanks you so much
My new taillight for my ninja 400 didn't come with snap on plugs for the turn signals its straight wires how do I fix this problem
Ditch that product and go with one of ours ;)
Where is the license plate tail light still constantly get pulled over for not having a tail light
We sell a universal license plate light that’s available on our website.
Se puede instalar a una zx6r 2007?
No.
Hey what if I got a check engine light
You most likely disconnected something like the exhaust servo and powered the bike. If you plugged it back in it just needs time to reset. I would recommend that you pull the code and find out what it is just in case. This way you don't end up ignoring an actual problem in case you have a coincidence of when you installed the tail light and when code came on.
I have 2 extra plugs hanging off of my light... why?
We included 2 sets (4 individual signal connectors) that way all year ranges and models can use the light without the use of subharnesses. This light fits the Z400, Ninja 400, ZX-4RR, ZX-4R, ZX-6R, and ZX-10R. With each of those covering several years.
I will wait in Honda cb300r 2018
Rear hazard and turn signals work, any idea why the tail and brake lights aren’t working?
Edit: 2021 zx6r
@@SilentCarrot have you checked your fuses?
That was it! The 7.5a was blown
Thank you! 🤘🏽
@2:51, >.< The words "front driver's seat" and a motorcycle do not belong in the same sentence.
Hey Trogdor...I think the message here is pretty clear.
@@TSTindustries Ahaha....It is. It was just one of those cringe worthy speech d'oh moments. Regardless, your company makes some fantastic products and your video production for tutorials are great. Now I just wish I had a 2019 ZX6R!
Why do I got 5 wires on mine and u only got 3
This tail light fits a few different models across different generations so instead of making a couple of different tail lights and increasing the price, we made one tail light that fits all models. You can simply leave the extra turn signal connectors you don't use, disconnected.
Ah ok thanks
sweet
0:59 some girls too lol❤
You’re 100% right! ♥️
This product does not work on a 2023 years Kawasaki.
Please explain
It works fine on my 2023 ZX6R. Just installed it yesterday and couldn't be happier with it.
This is a total downgrade. Why would I change out an LED for an LCD?
What? Our tail light, like all of our lighting equipment, is LED.
