Setup wholesale on a Shopify store without having to sign up for Shopify Plus. This is an excellent way to keep the cost down and still get all the B2B features you will need to run a successful wholesale experience. Magento or Wordpress is usually the go-to solution for B2B stores; however, in this updated video I want to show you how we used Shopify to create a wonderful B2B experience using a basic Shopify plan.

Hi Chris, I don't use an app, it was custom coded because I didn't want to pay a monthly fee for something that only takes a few minutes to code. However there is an app called locksmith - apps.shopify.com/locksmith that does the same thing. Maybe checkit out.

Can one add a minimum quantity to each item for wholesale customers? Let's say You would have to order 4 of an item in order for it to be discounted. Thanks,
Minimum Quantities can be achieved by using javascript to check the cart count and disabling checkout if the amount is not reached.

Yes. That is what I recommend. You can do it on one store, but you’ll save yourself a lot of headaches by opening a second store.
