Like AmyStotts said, imagine if it hit you - you lose control, you can crash, you can swerve into an oncoming vehicle. People are so thoughtless. Doubt the white car would've stayed if you got hurt either.

That car was probably going 40 mph. Imagine getting hit with the can. It could have knocked me out, or caused me to crash.

I’ve been hit by a can of something walking along a 55 mph road it wasn’t that bad I was pissed it wasn’t empty though

Most states prohibit it
in most states bikes are not allowed on the sidewalk, as they are considered vehicles just like your car, and are a danger to pedestrians on sidewalks
Get out of the road and maybe people won't hit you. Don't have anywhere else to ride? Get a real vehicle like everyone else
