Would you all be interested in seeing some hexcrawl actual play sessions with Vast in the Dark? Or should we explore more solo rpg tools and tips? Let me know!
I'm late to the party but I would like to see Vast gameplay. Purchased the PDF version of your book but haven't used it yet. Slick generation procedure you concocted!
Just stumbled across your channel. Very interesting content! Am subscribing now. By the way, a request: it would be helpful if you would include book titles and links in the description notes for whatever you're using for reference material in any particular video. It would make it easier for an interested person to check them out. Now to catch up on your other vids. Thanks!
You don't need to spin the pen. There are six possible directions. Just roll a D6. When I need scatter dice more generally I roll a D12 and use a clock face as the guide.
I've run into so many people who ignore the old pluralization: die: singular dice: plural ... so they just say "dice" for everything, even the singular that should be "die". You're flipping it, though, saying "die" even when it's plural?
@@DeepSpaceSolo Thanks for taking it well. It's a nails-on-chalkboard thing for me to hear people using singular "dice", and I was so un-ready to hear the reversed usage. It was more of a huh? No, there it was again. It wasn't so much grating as surprising.

Both sound like deliciously delightful ideas! Starting from the first one though, at least in my opinion.

This is an interesting take on the Hexcrawl. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! I think getting into the gameplay quickly helps make sandboxes feel like less of a slog.
I guess I gotta invest in this game now...
Thanks for the video! I'd love to see anything else with this!
I'd be intrested in both actually

Thanks for the sub! I will go back through and add links for all of the items where they are missing.

very dada with the dice placement
I've run into so many people who ignore the old pluralization:
die: singular
dice: plural
... so they just say "dice" for everything, even the singular that should be "die". You're flipping it, though, saying "die" even when it's plural?
Thanks for the feedback! Honestly not sure why I tend to say it backwards; maybe it's some past English class trauma.
