You need to be assigned to a training. If not DS trainings are always full so try to be assigned to one.

I always join if the ds training is at 21:30 i just stop playing at 21:28 so I can join so you can wait at 21:28 in the game and then it says in how many minutes it will start so you can join like this

Are you still struggling with it? All you really have to do is wait for the correct signal status, stop at the right car markers and follow speed limits.
